North Korea unveiled a huge wall poster in Pyongyang on the North Korean TV evening news just after the Yeongpyong island attack (Tuesday local), showing in a DPRK Pilot in a flight suit in the center, the subtitle said “1000 years to Kim Jong il!” (equivalent to Japanese war “banzai!”) and then the poster went on to say, “They (US) have nuclear power carriers but we can attack them.” They were playing military music over this as they showed the video of KPA personnel inspecting this huge poster.

The next thing we could see is THESE candles going off on test runs (Musudan intermediate range missiles, threatening Japan). Unveiled just a month ago at big-ass military parade in Pyongyang when the "boy king" was officially also unveiled, Comrade Kim Jong Eun (27):

IIRC it was only a few months ago the Chinese vehemently protested our joint military excercise in the Yellow Sea, and Hussein called it off. Now we have the North Koreans assaulting South Korea once again claiming basically the same reason.

Without the Chinese support the N.K. regime would not stand.

Makes me doubt this is strictly a N.Korean show to establish Kid Newbie on his Daddy’s throne.

I think this wreaks of Chinese influence personally.

What say you?

“Bring it.”

I would have preferred this about 10 years ago, before we let let them have nukes...but still better now than later.

You may be right. China may have decided that with a weak and indecisive US President at the helm..... that now is their best chance to move on Taiwan..... without us
doing anything quickly to stop it.

And they would probably be right in that assumption. In
two years they may get a US President with real balls.

Let’s bomba Obama.
Seriously, you know China’s been keeping score for a long time, and you know they don’t take kindly to Obama lecturing them on manipulating their currency. This has China written all over it.

North Korea is totally dependent on China. This crisis is in Korea but its origin is in China.

Repeat of Operation Paul Bunyan or something more serious?

Objectively, the situation is more serious in terms of casualty, and damage. Besides, this time, expansionist Chicom is also an major participant since U.S. carrier is sailing into Yellow Sea. However, people are more timid.

South Korea does not have the US in its corner, contrary to popular belief. Obama will hang them out to dry in a New York second. Of course, it’s not such a big problem for the South as long as the fight remains conventional. But if the NOrks go nuclear, that changes the whole equation.

This now all boils down to President Barack Hussein Obama.

And whether he blinks.

Nor not.

Or overplays his hand.

Or not.

Elections have consequences, fellow Americans. NOW do they get it?
