Airport security head admits to bomb plot (Namibia, Air Berlin)

Police have arrested the head of airport security at Namibia's main airport on charges he planted a dummy explosive device in luggage destined for a German flight earlier this week, Germany's interior ministry said yesterday.

Citing Namibian authorities, an interior ministry spokesman said the man was arrested for having placed a bag containing a simulated detonator on a luggage conveyor belt, and that he had admitted to doing so.

"The suspect was identified using CCTV footage. On the footage the suspect was seen handling the parcel," he said.

"We do not know if the suspect was working alone or whether there are third parties involved," he added.

When every you here words like, “man”. That means its a Muslim. Then I think of that TSA moron that reports to Janet Napolitano say they terrorist can be anybody and pointed out Tim McVeigh and Eric Rudolph as examples of why we cannot profile.

When I heard this I thought were either one of them getting on a plane? Answer No. What is the make up of the terrorist at the airports? How come they are ignoring this, and at the very same time targeting people that have never done anything?

Lots of questions with this Reuters report. In the headline there’s reference to Air Berlin which sounds like a carrier servicing this once German colony.In addition the report indicates it was the unidentified head of security (Of what? The Windhoeck airport,Air Berlin ?)caught on closed circut TV that planted a dummy device. It may just wind up being a “test” of security unless that person is a Moslem which is also not reported.
