300kg warhead is more than enough for a tactical nuke this is bad bad for our Navy when the tacticals start flying the Navy is toast setting these up with salvage fusing lets you beat back radar coverage. shoot one down and the warhead goes off in a nanosecond once the G sensors detect impact with an interceptor hence the salvage fuse. The emp and plasma fire ball which is opaque to radio waves for a period of time blind radar behind the blast for a few min to seconds allowing the next missile to fly in closer before its interception and ultimate rapid salvage detonation, the process continues till the target is in the blast radius this was The Soviet way to get past our superior missile interceptors brutal but it will work and the Chicoms don't give a hoot about mass producing tactical nukes they don't play nice with arms treaties. Sending a mass string of tactical cruise missiles prearmed in flight with rapid nanosecond salvage fuses would decimate our carrier fleet in short order, we could also respond tactically but wouldn't dare go strategic for fear of the Russians responding to help the Chicoms who could lose 500 million souls and still be a nation-state we cannot lose more than 90 million and be a functional nation so strategic crowd pleaser's are off the table with China we just don't have the megatonange to kill 70% of there population to defeat them as a viable culture.
It’s the ideal export weapon given that’s warhead and range specs appear to fall in the purview of the MTCR. The Pakistanis, Iranians, North Koreans and probably Venezuela would want to lap it up.
