NEW YORK (CBS 2) — Did you see it? Chopper 2 HD sure did.
It was a bizarre, glowing red-hot streak in the sky — right at sunset Wednesday — moving briskly behind the Manhattan skyline.
CBS 2 reached out to a top astronomer who looked at the video. He said it looks beautiful, but that is was like nothing more than what’s known as a “contrail” — condensation from a commercial or military jet.
The aliens, apparently, are not coming.

Put your finger on the streak in the video, and note how it stays in exactly the same position in the frame.

Was it really going that fast? I have no idea how to judge these things.
Just guessing. But it was really moving and appeared to be quite a few miles away. It looked like the helicopter camera platform was stationary. It was certainly a few multiples of commercial aircraft speed.
Oh great, now jackboot TSA digital rectal and vaginal exams will be required to board an airliner.
This would be a copycat story. They were hoping to hit another pr homerun.
That is part of Obamacare.
There was another photo in the Post this morning of something rising fast and leaving a rising trail from the horizon. The official response was that it was a contrail from a passenger jet leaving JFK. It did look odd, based on what I have seen of contrails, but I suppose it was possible, depending on atmospheric conditions.
Or maybe it’s the space aliens preparing to take Obama back to his planet...

I find it so loony that these idiots of tv news reporters are sucking up that line as well.
However they are JUST news reporters, no real intelligence is required. Just like 0Bummer was raved as the most intelligent man in the White House until he showed his inevitable dependency on TELEPROMPTERS while stumbling & bumbling along when he is without them!!
