“Christie says he was proud to have endorsed Castle.”

Castle would have lost. O’Donnell would have won had the lame-os like Christie supported her.

I’m not a believer in “exit polls” but that is not what the “exit polls” show. Delaware is deep blue and you can’t fix stupid.

The People spoke, Governor.

What do you think they were saying?

You can’t “miss” an opportunity that wasn’t there. Castle would have lost. And even had he won, he would not have supported us on many of our key agenda items.

Here is one of the few I’ll disagree with Gov Christie...

Castle would have been another (R), BUT What good is another (R) if it’s a Clone of GOOBER Grahamnesty??

Gov. Christie... please remember ... the last time we worried about 51 seat senate, we got “Jumpin’ Jim” JEFFORDS ..and the GANG of 14.

I’ve been bothered by Christie’s love of Castle for a while now.

I hope this isn’t an indication of another evolving RINO.

"Castle would have lost."

Castle would have won easily. That's not the point though. The point was made well by Jim DeMint when he said, "I would rather have 30 Marco Rubios in the Senate than 60 Arlen Spectors." Castle was a popular left leaning Republican in a Leftist state. He would have won easily but we don't need anymore of his type in our party.

O'Donnell's chances were slim and none from the outset.

Even if Castle had won, the Republicans would still be in the minority, and all we’d get for our troubles would be another Lindsey Graham in the caucus. I’m not losing any sleep over Castle being gone.

No, Castle was a loser, who would have lost bigger than O’Donnell.

Attempt by AP to start intra-party bickering.

Christie’s happy to be an insider.

Exactly !! This effort, while losing, served a unique purpose, smoking out liberal republicans.

If that’s what it takes, so be it.

Well I’d love to compare Castle’s prior election results with O’Donnells but since she didn’t have any that’s not possible.

This is a non-issue because as long as Obama remains in the White House he could have vetoed any GOP legislation anyway. Now instead of getting passed in the Senate and vetoed by Obama, it will just never get to Obama.

I don’t know. I think these types of discussions and comments will continue for some time, now that conservatives have found their voice.

Not a bad thing if this helps keep focus on not letting republicans in or out of office, stray from our ideals.

They were slim and none because she didn’t get the full support of the RNC and the entire party. Idiots like Tokyo Rove are more to blame than COD. She tried her best but was new at the game of running for the Senate and needed help she did not get.

Um...Lisa Murkowski lost the primary to Joe Miller in Alaska but won on write in ballots. So much for your theory.
