John Boehner's "GobGop" Plan to Sell Out the Tea Party in 2013. It Will Begin in January 2011.
Gary North's Specific Answers ^ | November 6, 2010 | Gary North

Posted on 11/06/2010 9:38:01 PM PDT by Tolerance Sucks Rocks

First, you must understand that Boehner is a GobGop: a Good Old Boy of the Grand Old Party. The GobGops' goal is to keep the present system funded by the Bigs: Big Business, Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Banking. If you do not understand this, then you are as naive as a Democrat who thinks Obama speaks for The Common Man.

Boehner shilled for Hank Paulson and Goldman Sachs by begging the Republicans to vote for the $750+ billion Big Bank Bailout in 2008. Watch his emotional performance here. "We just have to do it!" No, they didn't. Ron Paul told it straight. He is no GobGop.

Boehner is going to do it again. He has already told us what he intends to do.

The obvious target is Obamacare. The Tea Party voters hate it. They regard it as an affront.

You've probably seen this. It's all over the Web. It's supposedly from Maxine, the cartoon character who speaks for geezerdom.

Let me get this straight . . . . We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan

we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't,
Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,
written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it,
passed by a Congress that didn't read it
but exempted themselves from it,
and signed by a President who smokes,
with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes,
for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect,
by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,
all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese,
and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!

'What the heck could possibly go wrong?'

This is all true. Tea Party people know it's all true. They threw the rascals out . . . but left enough of them behind to sell us out.

Boehner told a Fox News interviewer what he plans to do: (1) repeal Obamacare; (2) pass another heath care law. You can see the video here. Here is a direct quote:

"This health care bill will ruin the best health care system in the world, and it will bankrupt our country. We are going to repeal ObamaCare and replace it with common sense reforms that will bring down the cost of health insurance."

Big Pharma is not threatened by this. Big Pharma will clean up either way.

If Boehner is politically savvy, he will have the Republicans introduce a repeal bill as soon as he takes over as Speaker of the House. The following will then take place.

1. A straight party vote will pass it.
2. In the Senate, the Democrats will not pass it.
3. Boehner will then begin a two-year campaign:

"The Republican Party is committed to a repeal of Obamacare. In 2012, you will have another opportunity to vote the Democrats out of power in the Senate, and give the Republicans a President who will sign this bill."

He will play to the Tea Party. He will gain their trust. He will throw down the gauntlet on health insurance from day one. He will hammer relentlessly on this for two years.

The goal here is to get the Tea Party voters into his camp. He is a GobGop. But it's obvious that he will score lots of points by doing this.

In 2012, the Republicans will take over the Senate and elect a President. It will repeal Obamacare. Then the Republican GobGops will introduce another huge bill that they promise will cut medical costs.

They will not cut spending. They will not raise taxes. They will preside over a gigantic deficit.

The pork will continue to flow.

The Tea Party people will sense betrayal. Then we will see how committed they are to getting the spending under control . . . in 2015. Too late, I think.

The sell-out is coming. It will be business as usual. The GobGops now control the House. They can posture all they want, knowing the Senate will block their token spending cuts. The GobGops will scream: "If we only controlled the Senate! If we only controlled the White House! Then we could get spending under control!" You know: the way they did under Bush.

It will make great political theater. Punch and Judy will perform a real donnybrook. A good time will be had by all.

The Bigs will get bigger. They always do.

Forward this to friends. Post it on Twitter and Facebook. The troops need to be warned what's coming.

I'm not sure whether this guy actually believes this is what will happen, or whether he is attempting to divide conservatives. I guess we'll find out in 2013...

Well, in any system that believes in the power of free enterprise there are going to be some biggies and some littles. That doesn’t translate to having pre-picked the biggies as the winners or any ideological commitment to keeping the biggies all at that size or not letting littles grow to join their ranks.

Do not trust the Republicans

If they don’t realize they are washed up and out of business we must make them see

The NWO is DEAD, but it will not give up without a fight and the old Republicans are a part of it. The American people in the form of the TEA PARTY has given the Republicans an opportunity, but if they blow it THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY!!!!!

Mark my words..............the American people will not be taken over like a bunch of saps by the NWO creeps.

Take that you Obamaloons and you Republican turncoats.

Bachmann needs to be part of the advance party to takeover control of the GOP. RINOs have a way of publicly outing themselves eventually. Bohner needs to be closely watched by the 80 freshpersons.

This will be interesting. Right now all we will see is political posturing on both sides till January. Boehner will likely try anything that he thinks will help him (Republicans) politically. He wont try suicidal stuff. Winning is his main concern. Still don't know how that will play out.

I think he has the wind at his back politically against Democrats given Obama has the Senate. It gives him more freedom of action politically.

Agree about his RINO past, he should not be Speaker. But heck, I hated McCain.

Anyone you vote into office could betray you in this manner. Just ask the extreme left how they feel about Obama. But that doesn't mean they will. Be vigilant, punish betrayal, and run candidates who can reasonably be assumed to be loyal to the cause in the primaries of both parties. Wash, rinse, repeat—relentlessly, implacably, in the full knowledge that reversing a century of error may take a few decades. Take over from within, incrementally, but always seeking to make forward progress.

It is we the poeple who have begun to nudge this Titanic in the right direction. It has just begun.

We fell asleep and trusted the leaders in 94 to do what we elected them to do. Let us never sleep again.

Give money and give voice. Whichever is your God given gift and let’s turn the Free Republic, Tea Party movement into the largest human movement since the Declaration of Independance.

I would not hold my breath waiting on repeal.
The senate would have to agree, then Zero would have to sign.
The GOP will use it as a campaign issue for 2012 and get a majority in the senate and maybe the presidency. And then you will have about 4-5 RINO’s figure out some way around repealing it. I can hear a lot of freepers now... just give us more senators and we will repeal it. I very much hope I’m wrong but the reality is it will be another entitlement that will NEVER go away. Can anybody give me a solution to repealing it? I’m open to any ways to do it.

I, personally, do not completely trust Boehner--been there too long and too entrenched and not a strong outspoken conservative. He has a chance here and I hope he doesn't blow it.---He bears watching! At the first hint of giving in to compromise, he's blown it.

Some of this may be true, but it is also true that if the y did have the Senate and White House they could repeal Obamacare and replace it.

Now THEN, if they didn’t, and STILL kept giving excuses, there would be hell to pay.

I think OUR main job for the next two years is being AS CRITICAL of the Repubs in the house and senate and making it very clear we will not put up with them blaming the tea party, marginalizing said members, spying on them with career GOP staffers, trying to control them, and expecting us to jsut live with it. We need to be on the OLD republicans’ asses from RIGHT NOW even before they take over and make sure they know THEY WILL SUFFER if they do not get with the will of the conservatives that came out en masse against Obama.

Get it? It wasn’t a vote for McCAIN and other RINOs and deathbed converts to conservatism, it was voting against what the dems have pulled the last 2 years.

We can do it again. Our money doesn’t flow to RNC PACs but right to the candidates themselves.

Defund Obamacare in the House....the House controls the purse strings. Defund it whether Boehner likes it or not.

Perhaps another massive TEA Party in Washington is necessary to get their attention.

I believe he is 100% Correcto Mundo!!!!
This is why I keep saying the RINOs are not spineless, nor are they Dummies. They are players from another team, playing on the field under the guise of a stolen uniform!
RINOs are not conservatives, are not dumb, are not weak, but instead are cunning, sneaky, double-crossing, opportunist (or controlled operatives) who have as their objective, after gaining riches, the destruction of Conservatives!

It’s just that simple, so the really important war to isolate, neuter, and eventually Kill RINOs (politically speaking, of course) has just begun!

In the Midterms Conservatives got some fresh troops on the playing field, but there remains many RINOs laying in wait to ambush them!

As an Alaskan who just experienced the duplicity of the GOP selling out Joe Miller it sounds all too real for me. Socialism needs two legs to walk. The parties appear to oppose one another but in the end they walk in the same direction. Don’t put your trust in men of either party. There really isn’t much difference in the end.

He is not for the people. It’s time to get another Speaker of the House. He and others want to keep their gravy train coming. They have probably invested in ia lot of stuff we don’t know about. Probably global bs.
