No my friend, thank you for your untiring efforts to keep open homosexuals out of military service. There is already enough open and unabated immorality in the service to mess with discipline, we don’t need open homosexuality thrown in the mix.
We already have serious problems with hetereosexual misconduct....rape, sexual harassment, favortism, fraterazation...etc. Persons, especially drill sergeants, are court martialed and booted from the Army on TRADDOC installations at an alarming rate. The young folks entering military service, worse than any generation, lack a basic understanding of right and wrong, moral and immoral. They are amoral in their outlook. WE DON’T NEED TO MAKE IT WORSE WITH HOMOSEXUALITY OPENLY EXPRESSED.
Imagine an army full of pederists and catamites.

If the slime in Congress pass the repeal of DADT to institute open homosexuals in the military, when the new Congress convenes, repealing it should be the Very First thing they do. If it can't be repealed, then they should cancel it by defunding it - surely there must be some funding needed. Or defang it by some kind of bureaucratic method. Or tie it up somehow until the Rs own the Senate and the Presidency in 2012. The leftist slime want to destroy the military! Cannot be allowed to happen!

To the sodomite, there is no difference. The allowance of "orientation" is a license to engage in any kind of sex they grave.
Practically speaking, if sodomites get the military's blessing, they will be a new protected class - powerfully protected. Any attempt a limiting their behavior - "who they are" - will be deemed, again, "discriminatory" and will effectively have an implied pass to break any remaining rules.

The poll you cite was of readers and relied on their honest replies. It quite easily could have been slanted by individuals logging on claiming to be military members with combat service, etc. Even this current survey was open to replies by spouses and we’ll have to look at the cross tabs to see whether the information is actually verifiable. We KNOW the sodomy lobby is quite active in slanting these surveys and it shouldn’t surprise any of us who have seen recent active duty that the results don’t square with our own experience.
