And Indian-American Nikki Haley-Gov.-elect S.C.

I was thinking about this very thing last night. I wish the GOP would do something smart for once and get a group photo of all of the ethnic winners and tout them.

It would lay waste to the myth of racism in the GOP.

Also, did y'all notice the military winners, too?

Congratulations to West and Scott, true Patriots both.

It is clear that the Republican party is the party of the people, inclusive to all who share the simple values of smaller government, lower taxes, secure borders, and individual responsibility. The Democratic party, by contrast, is the party of special interests and racial-identity politics, neither of which is good for the country.

Perhaps, African Americans will now see this more clearly and choose to go with the party that will truly benefit them as a group and as individuals instead of continuing to support the party that has done everything to keep them economically dependent on government for decades.

Maybe I'm too sensitive, but I see this article as condescending. It gives these fine candidates very little credit for their own victories. No, no -- they were just "riding a GOP wave". It was a "Republican wave" that produced the results. These minority candidates -- you see -- couldn't have done it on their own. These sorts of people "need help" from others.

Fah!

a UCLA professor and director of the university's Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity and Politics, said Obama's election pushed the GOP to adjust to a more diverse electorate by seeking out minority candidates.

Um, NO! obama's race-baiting socialist agenda pushed some conservative minority candidates to stand up and be counted, as with the rest of the Tea Party tsunami!

They’re saying these great men wouldn’t have made it in the “racist” Republican party otherwise! As usual, their words prove where the true racists sit!

The ultimate blow to leftist madness would be for this country to have a Black woman REPUBLICAN president!
The leftists would melt into a pool of steaming mud.
