At least 15 people have been injured in a suspected suicide bomb attack in Istanbul's main square. The blast rocked the city's central Taksim Square, Turkish television channel NTV reported.
The suspected bomber targeted a police vehicle, NTV said.
TV footage showed police and ambulances rushing to the scene.

I lived in Turkiye, it's one of the most historic, beautiful countries in the world. The Turks are great people, unfortunately they currently have the same leadership the US has. And if this broad you know doesn't like meat markets, should could always go to the supermarket.

I lived in Turkiye two years, working for the TAF on Peace Onxy III aircraft. The Turkish armed forces are as professional as they come, most enlisted can speak at least 3 languages.....Turkish, English and either French or German. The Turkish military follow Attaturk and his philosophies of stronger ties to the West.
Turkey is a paradise of beautiful beaches and Turkish women, very well educated for the most part, and good looking as they come. Peasants tend to follow the old muslim religion, the younger generation are westernized to the max and well educated.
Turkey will own Syria and Iran's water lifeline when they complete the Attaturk Dam project
