Look, COD defeated one of the most powerful Republicans in the country, in the primary, in a state that's supposed to be anathema for conservatives. Coons was originally designated to be Castle's sacrificial lamb so Castle can win and keep the seat warm for Beau Biden in 2014. You're going to tell me she defeated a powerful, well-known and long-time Republican by a decisive margin, but is going to lose big to an unknown Democrat, even though both him and Castle are nearly ideological twins?
I’m afraid that John Kerry’s appearance with Coons on Friday might have caused some voters to change their minds.
I mean a man like John Kerry is a universally respected intellect and leader that I’m sure that he was a game breaker.
