Okay so since they have no evidence you now say that is evidence? They have no evidence of anything. Good lord.

Haven’t seen anything about all these other victims do you have a link for this, or should I disregard that?

The Lady herself said she has been getting daily updates from the Mexicans. Sorry if you don’t like that part but you can’t really change it no matter what you say. LOL!

Share some of this stone cold evidence that points at Mexicans doing this please.

Nobody is jumping on the Mexicans but it’s sure easier to believe them than this lady who has all these holes in her story.

Who has called anyone racist?

They and the Mexican officials will but then so far there is NO evidence of anything. There isn’t a body, jet ski, nobody saw these guys chasing her nothing. All we have is some woman who has said these guys shot her husband that she can’t seem to identify. So with no proof she is just as suspicious as anyone else on that lake.

From your tone, I am sure you just want to joust, and are not serious about this..so I will try just one more time.

From day one...the complaints from US law enforcement was that Mexico was not cooperating, not investigating, not searching. Ck all news film and newspaper reports (the RECENT statement that they are keeping her informed daily is just that...a very recent development)

Google all newspaper and TV reports on the recent victims of robbery and threats with "big" guns by the "pirates" on the lake...the Dentist..fishermen...etc. The Sheriff has said this in every interview and presser. The Sheriff (who is Hispanic) knows these Mexican cartels HE SAID, he knows their M.O., HE SAID...not me.

Also, the kind of evidence you seek...a body..the ski, witnesses on the Mexican side..CANNOT BE FOUND BECAUSE MEXICO WILL NOT NOW and WOULD NOT THEN LET THE US SEARCH OR INTERVIEW ANY POSSIBLE WITNESSES.

So far, the US, and TX authorities have said her story on the US SIDE cks out, with AGAIN... blood evidence, a witness on this side who said boats were chasing her, and a police witness that talked with them before they got on the lake, interviews with friends and family, and financial info, prob more, but this is what I heard in pressers.

Next time there is a presser you should watch...I am sure Texas officials are still looking at ALL possible scenarios that they can think of, AGAIN SO FAR...they have said that they believe her....the Sheriff said that, not me.

Blarney, Do you even read the posts on this thread or as is suggested are you just jousting?

Read number 71. Read borderbeat. The state of Tamaulipas is a war zone.

I didn't suggest that the wife murdered her husband. I said her demeanor indicates that she's lying about something. Who knows what that might be.

1. The woman’s husband was shot.

We do not know this is true. Her husband's body has not been recovered. Her husband is missing and presumed dead.

2. There is a witness.

There is no witness to the actual crime. The witness saw Tiffany returning to shore. He knows only what she told him.

3. The lead investigator in Mexico was beheaded.

True.

My doubts and questions have nothing to do with amnesty or securing the border. Tiffany Hartley is being deceptive, about what I have no idea. She's hiding or covering up something.

I don’t know why the cop didn’t advise them that going to Falcon Lake wasn’t a good idea. But here’s an interesting possibility.

Problems with her story: 1) life jackets are designed to flip someone face up, 2) how did he get shot in the middle of his forehead if he was jet skiing away? 3) that’s some incredible shooting skill, hitting a moving target in the head from a moving boat.

Paging Arlen Specter.

Hmmmmm.............

See link in 105. Interesting.

“David Hartley worked for an oil and gas company, and he and his wife had recently relocated to McAllen, Texas, from Mexico, where they had lived for approximately two years. According to the Stratfor report, the couple’s vehicle still had a license plate from Mexico’s Tamaulipas state.”

No wonder the cop didn’t advise not to go there..... they were FROM there.

This is not evidence in any way whatsoever this is people saying her story checks out. How does it check out? They have nothing to check out. You can think I am jousting or whatever you want but fact of the matter is there is nothing to make any kind of decision on.

Your information is not ever definite information. A cop pulled them over before they want to the lake, so what? He can’t witness to anything.

ONe witness saw her didn’t see her getting chased. They will say they believe her they will say anything to make sure they doesn’t disappear or try to cover tracks she hasn’t covered.

There is no information thus far the only thing everyone has going on is “blame it on the mexicans”. I remember a lady who sunk he children in a lake in her car some years back. She blamed it on the “black guy” that one turned out real good to. They had the mother on t.v. bagging to have her kids back, the police made pleas for the kids safe return. Turns out mommy killed those kids. So they have nothing and I doubt the police are buying her weak and changing story at this point.

LoL! I forget everything on the internet is true. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I go to Mexico a lot I doubt you even have a clue on this if you just letting someone else make up your mind for you.

Why should the South Koreans on their border sleep more peacefully than an American Taxpayer on the Southern USA border?

Somebody’s got some ‘splainin’ to do around here..including why We the People have let this become an issue.

As do I. Or more correctly, I DID. A relative of mine that retired in Tamaulipas due to the cheap COLA that opened a business selling Mexican goods to the gringos in Nuevo Laredo, had to move back after cartels with machine guns splattered people in front of her store and also her home on TWO separate occassions. Do not try to tell me that Mexico is safe. I know better.

That crap happens across this country everyday.

I don’t know what happened and at this point that woman and whomever else may have been involved are the only ones who do.

Her story isn’t holding up so far which could be any number of things. I just think people are too quick to automatically blame and join in the finger pointing.

With all the news going on about assasins being in the country, drug cartels taking over parts of our country etc. it’s too convenient at this point. I just find it easier to wait until some information comes out, any information would be nice. There is zero information thus far, we have one person telling this story.

They lived there in what they perceived to be paradise for 20 years. I visited them often. Within the last few years, it became unsafe to walk out their doors. They had to close the store first, then later abandoned their home. They say it is a war zone.

My husband spent the first 16 years of his life there. He is what is called a reverse-anchor baby. His family bought a business there, as well as a second home. As it is illegal for Americans to own property, the mother decided to have him “across” and put the business and home in his name since he has dual citizenship. They also abandoned the properties and have completely fled South Texas for Houston. Their Mexican friends, of which they have many, have fled as well, flooding Houston, Dallas, and some venturing to other states to avoid “la migra” to start a new life free from fear of the violence. None of them plans on returning until something is done about the cartels. If caught, they will immediately return.

I am vehemently anti-amnesty. With that said, I do feel sympathy for those leaving in droves for fear of their lives. Something HAS to be done. Unfortunately, I don’t know what that something is, short of our military going down there and taking over that country. With a baggie of pot going for $250, my husband says it is no wonder these animals are killing people for drugs.

Legalize drugs? At one time I would have scoffed at the idea. Now, I’m not so sure.

Her story isn’t holding up so far...

What part of her story has been proven false? Maybe I missed something. I haven't heard anything of the sort.

Sure, she might have killed him. Seems pretty unlikely, but it's possible. How did she dispose of his jet ski? Those things are full of foam. You don't just pull a plug or shoot some holes in it and have it sink. It's somewhere, but apparently not on the lake. Somebody seems to have taken it. Maybe... just maybe... it's the same people that shot her husband.

She might by lying. But she also might not. I'm completely willing to believe whatever the evidence says, if indeed there ever is any. It's too bad that you're not. I'd encourage you to think more about that. What if you got shot somewhere by some thugs and it was your wife that was wrongfully charged for your murder? Would you want that to happen?

Let's see what the facts are, and see where they take us.

Nothing has been proven false, nothing has been proven true. Her story has changed tho, which if you go back and actually read my post I said it could be any number of reasons why.

I never said she killed him. I have said she is not telling everything in the past but never have I accused her of anything.

Again I haven’t accused her of killing him. So I have no idea whay you question of if this happened to me has to do with anything.

You assume a lot on this story from one persons perspective which hasn’t been consistent. You also assume that I have said things I haven’t. Maybe a bit less assuming would be in order.?.

How has her story changed? Everything I’m hearing now is the same as what I first heard from her. What changes do you mean?

I would add that she doesn’t *have* to prove her story true. Somebody else has to prove it false. That’s just sort of how it works.
