Well, we know from the Clinton years that if Democrats violate the election laws, the Attorney General won’t prosecute them, so only the Republicans are required to obey the law about no foreign contributions. The real point of making the baseless accusations, other than swaying voters, is to intimidate businesses so they won’t contribute to Republican candidates (if their names are to be made public so they can be harassed by leftist groups).
