Waxman represents California’s 30th US Congresssional District which Includes the Ultra Liberal areas/cities of Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and the nexis of LA’s gay community..... West Los Angeles.

As an interesting side note, recalled former Governor Grey Davis, a transplanted Atlantic Seaboard Liberal born in Bronx, New York, lived in, and at one time represented West LA in California’s Assembly.....ahem.....
