The real 10/10/1010 passed a 1000 years ago. This is merely 10/10/2010 which the media is trying to make a big deal out of. Then again, when the Gregorian calendar and Julian calendars were changed in the 1500-1600 time frame, we lost even a few more years, so 10-10-1010 wasn't 1000 years ago either. 8<)
