After Big Bang Came Moment of Pure Chaos, Study Finds (order eventually came out of chaos?)

The universe was in chaos after the Big Bang kick-started the cosmos, a new study suggests.

While one might expect the explosion that began the universe to wreak some havoc, scientists mean something very specific when they refer to chaos. In a chaotic system, small changes can cause large-scale effects. A commonly cited example is the "butterfly effect" the idea that a butterfly beating its wing in Brazil can bring about a tornado in Texas.

Order always seems to come out of chaos.

Hydrogen is not homogeniously spread through the universe, it gathers and forms stars. Stars pull debris into orbits, which then become planets.

Water vapor becomes a cloud. Clouds form systems, sytems form storms.

Sperm meets egg, forms Zygote, Zygote eventually becomes fetus, fetus becomes becomes a baby, baby becomes an adolescent with a head full of mush. Adolescent becomes a adult, brain pathways form and intelligence manifests.

Everythign we observe in life, shows that choas moves towards order.

Order came out of a chaotic arrangement of specific particles with specific properties being acted upon by specific forces.

The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 Now the earth was [a] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

sure it does...
I mean, as long as I don’t bother cleaning my house or office, things just magically order themselves, seemingly in total refutation of the second law of thermodynamics.

my grandma used to say that the big bang was just what happened when God clapped his hands. i would suggest that after the clapping for chaos, He stirred it with his finger for the organizing of it all. just sayin’.

WIDR: I sounds real smooth and easy if you leave out the critical inescapable REQUIREMENTS. Such as; WHO designed the sperm and the egg, and WROTE the DNA code, and the MECHANISM for replicating the code and reproducing itself.

One living cell contains enough CODE, that if it were printed out it would fill 1,000 volumes of 600 pages each, in EVERY living cell. The God-denying so-called scientists can’t TALK that away with a bunch of psychobabble and could-a, would-a, should-a!

The must've been some order existing already for those particles and forces to have existed in the first place.

"...the explosion that began the universe..."

Regardless of one's religious or scientific views, the author is completely wrong. No one in science regards the begining of the Universe as an explosion.

I mean, as long as I don’t bother cleaning my house or office, things just magically order themselves

Eventually you get sick of seeing crap all over the place and dust everywhere. You then get off your butt and clean house, thus restoring order..........

The process then repeats itself........maybe two years later, as in my case.

Wolfram proved that the threshold for complexity in this universe is very very low.

Even as things decay in enery, they continue to collide, interact and react and yes...form orderly patterns....And by things, Wolfram in particular, was not discussing particles, he was discussing systems including organisms and much higher organizations...like societies...everything from the patterns in the scales of fish to the distribution of cities and populations...

Perhaps this low threshold for complexity is what facilitates life...

Not an expert...just making conjecture. But to say blanketly that entropy is one way, ignores the interactions...

Besides, if the universe were such a simple system, I imagine all of the energy would have dissipated long ago...No, I suspect that there is more here than we can see or than we can understand.

Not to elevate myself unnecessarily,
but, I do assert that it requires some “intelligence”
and directed energy expenditure
in order to “undo” the entropy.

It's not widely known but this axiom is the foundation of modern science.

Science hasn’t the foggiest notion what temporal and spatial continua may have condensated during the inflation period when the universe expanded at faster than the speed of light. We have been so busy defining what the condensate is which we dwell in, that we have ignored the possibilities of other spatio-temporal continua. But the Bible actually gives strong hints of same (see Chptr 5 of Daniel, for instance).
