We are bringing in 125,000 legal foreign workers a month right now thru both permanent and temporary work permits in the midst of almost 10% unemployment or close to 17% using U-6 numbers. Does this make sense?

And the number of additional LEGAL immigrants who would join those who were the recipients of amnesty through chain migration, i.e., family reunification, would approach 70 million over a 20-year period, assuming there are only 12 million illegal aliens. We cannot assimilate such numbers. An amnesty would destroy the United States of America with the stroke of a pen.

Today when I visit residential construction sites in New Jersey I see and hear hispanic people speaking spanish. I do not know their legal status but the large number of them on the site suggests to me they may not be legal.

Moderate Republican, my A$$. Powell is a tried and true lib who was one of the principle causes of Gulf War II by persuading GB I not to finish Gulf War I. Anything and everything Powell says now is completely irrelevant. If he wasn't black, he wouldn't even be in the public eye - (like where's Schwartskoff, where is Franks)?
