Great!

New refrigerators will occupy the same space in your kitchen as today but will only hold a gallon of milk and a pound of butter because the walls of the frig have to be a foot thick to meet some appointed officials arbitrary regulations.

We’ll be beating our clothes on rock by the stream before you know it.

You would most probably get in trouble with the EPA for polluting that stream. And then you'd have wet clothes. Many areas don't let residents hang their clothes out on clotheslines, so they're forced to use electricity to dry them.

What we need is a law that a person must wear the same outfit to school or work for a whole week before washing it. And wash them with water recycled from a bath or shower (twice a week max), after that to be used in the toilet. (relax, I'm kidding <^..^>)

The first three were government subsidies for private-sector green energy projects, special tax incentives for green energy projects and low-interest government-backed loans for green energy projects.

Think green and prosper. /s

This is again, all about government control, has nothing to do with “saving the planet and environment”.

It's just all so bogus. So much could be re-used instead of recyled. Example...wrap gift packages in newspaper, sandwiches in the paper towel to be used as a napkin. Save money if you bring your own container to be filled when buying beverages. Foster an attitude that wearing clothes for a few years is desirable to discarding them. Throw away copy machines in schools. Get real with public transportation that's actually desirable and efficient. Stop transporting stuff that could be manufactured/produced locally all over the globe. etc

And how many people won’t be able to find appliances they can afford when it comes time to replace?

I feel a government tax credit coming on. <^..^>

Appliances that don’t work use less energy.

“We’ll be beating our clothes on rock by the stream before you know it.”

No, that would pollute the stream.

“New refrigerators will occupy the same space in your kitchen as today but will only hold a gallon of milk and a pound of butter”

Comrade, you will receive enough refrigerator space to hold your monthly food ration. Now stop complaining and go help with the sugar cane harvest!/sarcasm

The commies are going to push freedom loving Americans into full blown revolt. Perhaps that is also part of their insane plans.

"God damn these leftist tyrants!"

Please answer your front door and surrender yourself to the uniformed officer there. You are accused of slandering The State. Resistance is futile.
