Not only Snow but so is Cornyn and he needs to go. He and his NRSC were handed a loss in Alaska. They need to get out and stay out of this one or support Christine. Time to ring his phone off the wall again. Stupid!!!!!
Same here. I have my doubts that he is generally despised in the state as much as he is here. He has a track record of winning. Many times.
NRSC sees its role as supporting incumbents. That’s supposedly why they do what they do.
“That article just reeks with elitist arrogance.”
I’m assuming that you’re referring to the talking heads (Goldberg and Co.) and not Lord or Codevilla.
It’s time to clean house.
The Spectator nails it again. I believe this is my favorite rag.
I told my family this summer at a reunion in Wash DC that if we were living in the times of the Romans, I would nail every one of the 535 bastards on crosses along the Appian way, and let the crows pick the flesh off their rotting carcasses. But in times present I would settle for chaining then to the curb from the Lincoln Memorial to Arlington Cementary on the hottest July day and let stray dogs cool their heads with yellow streams of merciful piss. And this latter would be a merciful act.
After those descriptors I told family that I was but a ‘moderate’ TP participant.
Dude, should have thrown that trash out long ago.
Spectator is still the best of the bunch.
No way I would go with Petraeus. He has been too IN with the established RINO class.
I’ve been reading the American Spectator almost as long as NR. I remember when it was a glossy broadsheet back in the 70s. Lately, the American Thinker (online) has impressed me as well. Very intelligent articles without a hint of snooty condescension.
True, but that is because no one has ever challenged him recently in a primary. The last two elections he ran against unknown Dem candidates.
That said, I suspect that if he's losing, the elites just switch the names so he 'wins.' He is doing what the big money and the Greenville Republicans want. He needs to be tossed out in the primary.
Mike Castle and the DE GOP are beyond loathesome to gang up on a private citizen who is supporting Christine. They will not hesitate to use the legal system to intimidate any challenger or even their supporters. In other words, that is called playing dirty.
How they expect to get more votes after suing a regular citizen--a former Marine, at that--is anybody's guess.
Low and Slow in aviation refers to small aircraft that aren't fast like the Piper "Cub" below...
Cubs are the offspring of Mama Grizzlies and with that said maybe all us Tea Party Conservatives ought to call ourselves Low and Slow. I'd take it as a compliment.
Besides, we are fun, just like a Cub is fun to fly....
Not sure why this article brings it to mind, but Delaware was the last state in America to free its slaves.
>> Time to teach the DE GOP a lesson: DO NOT vote for their anointed candidates in the primary, who are: Mike Castle, Michele Rollins, Tom Wagner and Colin Bonini. <<
I have no intention of voting for Castle and Rolins. But I couldn’t find materials for Wagner or Bonini. ARe they just the junior Castles-in-waiting then?
This just show you that, in order for the Ruling Class to stay in power There have to be people willingly deliver the power up to the Ruling Class.
Hence we have the Ruling Class themselves, and the toadies, the hanger-ons, to get some crumbs from the RC. That people not quite the RC (in-crowd) themselves, but willing to help bring down others upstart Country Class.
You cant have it both ways.
Normally, experience is a good thing. But not when one is on the wrong side of the issues.
Lincoln freed the slaves and ever since the Dems have been trying to get them back....................

Reminds me of the island king in the comics, who was told he was acting like Atilla the Hun. His answer is priceless - “Don’t talk to me about wishy-washy Liberals”.
Personally, I prefer Apache justice - bury them in sand, up to their neck, smear the face with honey and let the ants go work.
your right. He’s the liberal side of the party, and not well loved by conservatives... but he won his last 4 races for the House with 60%+ of the vote.
That margin is why the national party leaned on him to run for senate and why the state party lined up in support.
2 years ago the state convention delegates compared Odonell to Mike Protack and pick Odonell to run against Biden.
This year the same state convention delegates compared ODonell to Castle and picked Castle.
Unfortunately her campaign team decided to run against the Party and throw mud on the people who supported her two years ago but picked Mike this year. Now they are are all “elitist, blue blood, rino, ruling class, castle-bots who have been bought off”.. Hopefully they will take a Dale Carnegie course before they try thier hands at politics again.
Delaware was also the first state to ratify the Constitution.
Wagoner and Bonnini’s great sin is that they are running their own races and not endorsing Odonell.
Wagoner has been a great state auditor, uncovering waste in department after department.
State Senator Bonnini is a fiscal hawk who has often been the lone NO vote on the state budget. He is running for State Treasurer and is the smartest guy in the race and one of the smartest elected R’s in Delaware.
