It’s all about equalizing the field, so those that work hard picking their teams start at the same point as the slackers.
It would make any communist proud!
To: Roccus; SouthTexas
I really need your help Commis Roccus as it seems I'm in a rut the last 6 races with scores of 276 - 285 - 275 - 257 - 269 - 267. Should I be concerned?

Thanks. This is a photo in May of the deck. Added the stair railing & then the rock landscaping. The next step is to remove the portion of the old deck partially visible and inclose that area up to the new spa w/railings similiar to the new deck & have a garden spot inside.

Helluva job there dawg!
Today I'm just into the mundane of removing and storing the AC, servicing my furnaces and building a flu pipe for the wood/coal-burner to the chimney I put up this summer.

Don’t know about storing your a/c already. It’s cooling off down here, but that’s down to 92.
It will be a week, remains to be seen as to what kind. :)
To: SouthTexas
Already seeing low 40’s at night. A/C weather is finished here in the hills of WV.

We saw 70s a couple of nights already.
Need cold badly, for one or two days only to put a damper on the skeeters.
Corpus Christi traps and tests mosquitos for various diseases. They just flagged St Louis Encephalitis again for the sixth time this year. We're downwind from them.

Proverbs says the sleep of a laborer is sweet and I slept like a kid in a candy store after you motivated me to trim 4 large truck loads of limbs from my MILs trees yesterday. Big lightning/thunderstorm here last night that is the talk of the town.
11,117 adult chinook went over to Bonneville Dam (Columbia River) yesterday..Saturday’s coming.
Hope to get one more day of heavy work done before I get the dastardly driver dart board out and fling a few feathery friends to see what this weeks selections will be.

before I get the dastardly driver dart board out Using highly technical, overly complicated means of selecting drivers may very well violate the spirit and/or the intent of the rule book.
This may have to be reported to the commish.
To: SouthTexas
Can we keep this btn us? I dunno what else to do 'cause selections by favorite (car) color doesn't work and dittos for 1st letter of previous pet names matched to drivers names. You're reminding me of that Direct TV commercial of the cop going up to the door of his fantasy friend's house and tasing him:

Actually you can do like the rest of us and throw all the car numbers up in the air. The winners will be the ones that don’t fall. ;)
To: SouthTexas

Please please don’t tell those other guys but I have decided to just use my current drivers until they run of Octane 103 and then I’ll push them off to the side of the track and run the 8 I have saved for the final races...

HDX2, don’t blame me. I learned almost 50 years ago that I am not a leader of men, so I don’t try. My (forced) reign as commish proves it.
Tube....OK. I promise I won’t tell anyone.

You’re a great commissioner & ya won it fair and square. (I think that’s what your note said to say)
Your motivation to do flue work got me going to trim trees. Besides that I got a new tool/toy to use for the job. Didn’t think I’d get to the project before mid-October. Nap then back at it again today.
