Some School Anti-Bullying Programs Push Gay Agenda, Christian Group Says
ABC ^ | 9/1/2010 | Russell Goldman

Gay-rights groups' push for anti-bullying legislation and school programs is an effort to "promote homosexuality to kids," according to a conservative Christian activist organization.

The accusation has underscored the conflicting attitudes among some politicians and parents who have lent their support to these policies after a string of deadly bullying episodes across the country.

Focus on the Family has accused gay-rights groups of using tolerance and anti-bullying programs to introduce curricula and books into schools that promote political aims such as same-sex marriage. The same groups, it says, lobby for gays and other minority groups to be specifically mentioned in anti-bullying legislation and try to depict Christians opposed to such treatment as bigots.

"What parents need to be aware of is there are activist groups who want to promote homosexuality to kids because they realize if they can capture hearts and minds of our children at the earliest ages they will have for all practical purposes won the clash of values that we are currently experiencing," Candi Cushman, education analyst for Focus on the Family, said on recently launched website TrueTolerance.org.

"They've started introducing homosexuality lessons, sometimes even sexually graphic information under the cover of tolerance or so-called safe school initiatives or even anti-bullying programs," she said.

One of the things that the left is masterful at is “relabeling” agenda items that 80% of the country would riot over.

...so death panels, nationalizing industries, and so on become “Hope and Change”

...so the advocacy of homosexuality becomes “anti bullying”

etc.

State of Illinois

Public Act 96 – 952 signed into law June 29, 2010.

• Creates a bullying prevention task force

• Anti-bullying laws now apply to non-public schools

• Definition of bullying now includes harassment based on gender-related expression and military status

The big question is “How much professional development money is going to be spent on professional development to train teachers on bully prevention?”

This new law has in it an establishment of a bullying task-force to Illinois State Board of Education, which is to make recommendations to the state by March 1.

This needs to be closely looked at before any mandates to the schools are made. (Professional development dollars, intense training for teachers and students).

Why was this needed in the first place? Is there an agenda with the current ISBE and Safe-Schools Director? Bullying is bullying ---this will lead to litigation.

This is the Mark Kirk, Arnie Duncan, Obama, and ISBE connection (Chris Koch) for advancing agendas.

This is a story that needs more detail. You’ve got Focus on the Family claiming that anti-bullying efforts promote a gay agenda and gay marriage and the anti-bullying advocates say it doesn’t, other than to say kids shouldn’t bully other kids because they are gay. If all the materials say is that you shouldn’t attack kids because they are gay or “act” gay, that’s fine with me. Focus on the Family needs to give examples rather than just making broad brush statements.

Infiltrating schools is part of the plan.

THE HOMOSEXUAL MANIFESTO

We shall seduce them in your schools, in your dormitories, in your gymnasiums, in your locker rooms, in your sports arenas, in your seminaries,

Yeah. It is. Michael Swift has been a “gay” rights leader. After it hit the fan with this manifesto, he claimed it was satire. Not likely. You should see what else he’s written.

He claimed it was satire (The Manifesto)

That’s satire crude enough to make me gag while watching The Simpsons

It sounds more like poison pen truth.

He teamed with someone else to write a plan for getting "gay" rights. It was still on the net a few years ago but has since been removed. It was very detailed and talked about getting away from moral arguments and usurping civil rights language. It also said to "play the victim" whenever possible. I was amazed. Most of it's already implemented. It came out in the 80's.

It appears that any FReepers that use the term “gay” are giving in to the enemy from the start.
The correct term is QUEER and it is a perjorative/animus laden term because the very perverted behavior/actions are inherent in advocating for societal deviantcy and destruction.
These evil-minded perverts (is there any other conclusion based on their public behavior and twisted thinking) are meaning to destroy America (part of the Gramscian marxist agenda) and its foundational principles based on individualism, natural family, and property rights.

Sooner or so, honest American citizens must come to understand that Queerist are by their actions a 2nd class of citizen akin to all perverts and social outcast and should be banned/discriminated from normal/patriotic society
because the 2 cultures can not co-exist. One must dominate.

As the TeaPartisans have raised the bar up on politicians - NO TRAITORS OR RINOs, so too must ALL educators(teachers or admins) be pressed against the NO QUEERISM IN SCHOOLS motif.
Purge all of the “fellow travelers” from our schools and then America might have a chance to return to sanity.

Bullying does not exist where Second Amendment rights are respected.

I’m sick of the term “gay” used to describe sodomites(queers),myself. They hijacked a perfectly good English word, twisted its meaning ,and scored a propaganda victory.

Isn't it funny how the words "queer" and "aggressive" mean something entirely different in a financial services context?
