‘The little turd has already earned his bounce to the curb.’

Agreed, but the people of South Carolina have not earned four more years of RINO representation, if it can be improved.

So Pansy has a new name? Jasmine Jeffords! Is it related to Jumpin’ Jim Jeffords?

I would not be surprised if it became a democrat, but I still hope that the TEA Party there in S.C. tells him to shut up and that they will make his life a living hell if he does not vote the right way. That particularly goes for amnesty. Under no circumstances should he vote or even open his mouth in support of any plan that allows illegals to stay here, receive benefits, or get any kind of vote.

RINO are so bold and transparent because they are convinced that the electorate has no memory or mental facilities for critical analysis! Pure and simple.

This guy makes me puke. That he hasn’t been recalled amazes me.

Juan won the Republican primary here in AZ, but I shall not be voting for him. In fact I will be sending money to support any or all 3rd party candidate(s).

Why?

If there is a conservative alternate to the GOP, that can rob victories from RINOs in the general elections, then and only then, will they stop cultivating RINO scumbag candidates.

Juan is going to ram amnesty, cap and trade and everything else through congress. He will be a lame duck Senator, so there will be absolutely no constituent leverage available to corral his greed and treachery.

Does Graham have a 2014 primary opponent we can contribute to yet?

Not in 2014. In 2008, he got through before a challenger could mobilize. Today, that’s a different story. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him not even run.

I can understand why Sweet Lindsey would want to meet with Tea Party Members.

The real question is why Tea Party Members want to meet with him?

Don’t they know that Sweet Lindsey, along with many other RINO’s are going to CO-OP the movement?

I guess Sweet Lindsey realizes his “Gang of 14” gangsters is on the outs and he’s looking for a new gang to join.

The Senator from Utah wasn’t reasonably conservative or he would still be a Senator following these elections.

Now Lindsey, who the hell knows what he is up to. McCain didn’t pivot until 2 years before. Lindsey still has four years left before his next election. This is earlier then they usually start pandering. Plus I’m not even convinced it matters. Given the characters we’ve seen in South Carolina recently in both parties I’m starting to almost understand why Lindsey skated as long as he has. More to the point I’m wondering how someone as decent and conservative like DeMint managed to come through that system.

>>> McLame’s lap dog follows its master’s lead, veers hard right

So having diligently and successfully worked to push the general voters away from the McCain opponents, you begin a new campaign to save Graham ? How generous. Obnoxious overkill will do it if anything will.

>>> Graham is the one who told the NYT that the Tea Party movement was a mere blip on the radar and would just fade away. It had no staying power

The people trying to hijack the movement from it’s secular TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY message into their laundry lists of unrelated social/moral issues will prove Graham’s point. The infighting has already begun.

>>> and then getting overheated plotting the Gang of 14

Just a reminder, the Gang of 14 saved the filibuster from the retards who were hellbent on throwing the procedure out the window. Had that not been blocked, Pelosi/Reid would have ruled by decree the last several years with the republicans lacking even the slightest leverage to slow them down. They were the smart ones.

Call it infighting or differences, the Tea Party movement is not a hierarchical organization. The are no fixed policies or doctrines. It is a grassroots movement composed of thousands of groups with certain basic core principles. As a member and participant, anyone who believes that it is short-lived fails to understand the movement.

Here in VA, it is expanding and ogranizing. There will be a statewide convention in October under the auspices of a federation. The groups are intent on putting down deep organization roots and networks. They will be engaged at all levels of government. Planning is already underway to present a legislative agenda for the 2011 General Assembly. The Tea Party is not going away and its power and influence will increase, not decrease.

Just a reminder, the Gang of 14 saved the filibuster from the retards who were hellbent on throwing the procedure out the window. LOL. The Dems have such overwhelming majorities in both Houses that Pelosi and Reid have essentially ruled by decree. Moreover, the Senate Dems are now working on changing the rules to get rid of the 60 votes needed to invoke cloturre. They are talking about reducing it to 55. The Dems are willing to play hard ball politics and use their majority to push their agenda. The Reps should have gone nuclear on the issue of judicial confirmations.

Red meat for the base is cheap, and commits to nothing. As we close in in an election where the dems are likely to take massive losses and lose control of one or even both chambers of Congress, if you consider the matter REALLY HARD you may find the flaw in the theory the dems are about to be so stupid as to throw away the possibility of filibuster. The bomb throwers in each party may stir up the rhetoric but the saner voices on each side know better then to cut their own legislative throat.

I wouldn't be counting my chickens before they are hatched. The Dems have far more money and they have a big edge in registered voters. I hope there will be major losses and that we take back at least the House. I doubt that we will control the Senate. The real campaign does not start until after Labor Day.

The Dems are not throwing away the filibuster in the Senate by reducing the number to 55. They could change the rules to push thru their agenda in the lame duck session. There is plenty of circumstantial evidence that they are planning to use the lame duck session as no party has ever done before.

The bomb throwers in each party may stir up the rhetoric but the saner voices on each side know better then to cut their own legislative throat.

The radical left is in control of the Dems. They don't care what the American people think. They have passed Obamacare, the stimulus bill, financial reform, taken over the banks, insurance companies, car companies, the student loan program, etc. They have already passed cap and trade in the House. They want to pass it in the Senate before the next Congress.

You seriously underestimate the commitment and ideological fervor of the Dems and this Administration. They are willing to sacrifice many of their own to achieve their objectives and pass their agenda. Once they have institutionalized these changes, it will be very difficult to undo them. Thanks to immigration, the Dems are well on their way to becoming the permanent majority party no matter what happens in November.

Immigration, Political Realignment, and the Demise of Republican Political Prospects

Linda picked the right area of South Carolina to do this. The Charleston area is fairly liberal, partially because of the libs from the north that have retired there. He would get slaughtered if he tried this in the midstate or the upstate.
