Republicans shouldn't engage in personal attacks against President Obama or other Democrats on the campaign trail, a top House Republican said Wednesday.

This is like the McCain standard: Never attack Obama, attack Hayworth instead.

What, we shouldn’t “get in their faces”?

We don't want to change the balance of power.

I agree.

The GOP should stick to the issues.

Obama is sinking all by himself.

If your enemy is in the process of destroying himself, leave him alone.

My predictions of the Democrats picking up more seats in the House and Senate in 2010 are well justified it seems.

I think the message is that Republicans should not make personal attacks. And if such personal attacks are made, we will know who to blame:
Bush's fault
Bush's fault
Bush's fault
Bush's fault

Just because.

What, we shouldn’t “get in their faces”?P> WE can 'get in their faces.'

But our candidates need to stick to the issues.

Most people will not vote for you simply because you are good at attacking the other guy. In reality, it often hurts a candidate to do that.

Getting ready to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Remember what McLame said in 08 - “ No one has anything to fear from an Obama presidency” . . . this is while the Obama camp was calling anyone who disagreed or questioned the One a bigoted racist clinger cracker

You are exactly right. Demoncraps get personal, GOP should stick to a sound, logical, conservative argument, and they will win hands down.

The GOP should stick to the issues.

Like the personal incompetence and corruption of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc.? Oh, wait, that would be too personal.

Frankly, I think this will work, although I hope that's why Pence is recommending it.

The wind of ideas fill our sails. Let the dems snarl and wail and whimper.

Obama is getting worse every day. More arrogant, more incompetent, more helpless.

After November, we can start having more fun. Even Sarah takes her shots in an excellent way, reminding us of Obama's failings..."even if it's above his pay grade," when Obama refused to address the wisdom of the Mosque.
