Wassup?
Not much. It has cooled off to around 90, so I no longer feed the dog ice water in his dish ;-)
I bet he liked it when you did! We’re supposed to be 99 today, but I’ve sure liked the cool nights.
It’s gorgeous out, right now. If I had a pool, it would be a good time to swim.
I think this weather is a respite. I expect 100 again soon.
A few rains cooled us off.
Did you all see the 10 year old sing on TV last night?
Jackie Avancho.
This time of year, we’ll see 100’s for a week, then 90’s, then 100’s, then 80’s, then 90’s, then 80’s...until around November. Then the temps will stay below 75 for the most part.
We didn’t get hardly any rain this season. YOU got it all! LOL!
I was ready to send you a Zodiac!
Afternoon. James is in perfect health. The Stalling branch of Growing Scholars didn’t have Bill’s chemistry book; I put one on hold at their uptown location, and I’ll make DP pick it up tomorrow or Friday.
I was in bed by 1700 and asleep by 1900. No stamina.
(I’m so ashamed!)
For all of you who are waiting with bated breath as to the outcome of the Saga of Miss Daisy, the word is this: The needed part is being paid for by a member of my church; the labor is mine to pay, though I can’t imagine how slow a person can go to put in the necessary part...I swapped one out in 40 minutes, not even knowing what I was doing!
To all of you who were in my Peanut Gallery, THANKS!!!
Isn’t that wonderful for you!
And Miss. Daisy!
(If I can do it, YOU can do it!)
Thanks, Sis! *hug*
Whooo-hoooo!
I had to put Ash in her crate because she was stealing peas from Frank. Now he’s walking over to the crate and dropping them in for her. PETZ!
Bill’s at the rock concert until at least midnight. He’ll be a wreck tomorrow, even if he drinks enough water. (It’s outside, and the temperature at 7:30 pm. is 91.)
Frank understands "power". That will help him in life.
Isn't Earle supposed to cool you off soon?
He let Ash out, the little twerp. I put her back and closed both latches, but he’s still dropping peas in.
Earl is deflecting northeast up the Atlantic coast. Local TV says there won’t be any effect on our weather here. 90s the next couple of days, 80s through the weekend, by which time we’ll be at the beach.
Anoreth called earlier. She thinks she broke her finger, but it sounds like a bruise to me.
LOL! I doubt Ash is complaining.
Have fun at the beach!
I hope Anoreth’s finger heals soon. :-)
A lesson I learned early on. When you've taunted someone to the point of punching you in the face, don't be picking your nose when he swings.
Heh, I can see that, actually.
However, she said it was something to do with hauling cables and block-and-tackle around the pier.
I plan to have Bill to most of the housework while we’re at the beach, so Anoreth can relax in not-quite-tropical splendor. He let Frank drop the Netflix remote in the toilet, and now we have to buy a new beeber. You can’t just buy a new remote!
Also never pick your nose at a stop light.

If they were cool they must have been burned-out stars, way below red dwarf level. Stars you can see are REALLY hot, tens of thousands of degrees F. Running into one of those is a gas -- for you. *\;-)
You forgot Peanut Gallery. And Professional Engineer.
