Flaglady reporting in here. It was NBC Channel 5, one of our local news stations. I just read about the one charge that was an 11-1 count. However, on many of the others it appears that the votes were much more split. So both can be true, what Channel 5 said regarding other counts, and what this juror said about this one count. I suspect that is the situation.

Yes out 23 counts - I've come to that conclusion that they were not all 11 to 1.

I seriously wonder if the most just decision would have been jury nullification? It seems awfully shady that Blago gets tried, but no one else (such as Rahm etc).
Never underestimate the ability of one stupid juror to refuse to see the plain truth right in front of their face.
I had a close family member who was murdered. The killer had already been convicted of first degree murder in the killing of a second individual, and the case against him in this case was overwhelming. The DNA evidence especially. Not only did one stupid juror threaten to hang the jury, the rest of the jury tired and finally settled on second degree instead of first degree murder. It was a total injustice, but what are you gonna do?
