Grey Goose vodka perfect representation of the Obama’s themselves. Garbage on the inside wrapped up in a pretty package that makes it look good or classy.

Big deal. I’m surprised it was a man’s drink, and not one of the sugary concoctions the author seems to be promoting.

If Grey Goose martinis are "low class", they'd positively HATE me, with my taste for beer. The opposite would be true, if you'd order one of the local beers (if they have any). That's much more interesting than ordering the same basic martini that you can get pretty much anywhere in the country.

Stay out of the State Liquor Store across from Hanafords on WIC Day, you will get trampled by the Elephants.

Hendrick’s is good, too. It’s quite different.

I like tomato juice and Manischewitz wine. It’s called a Bloody Murray.

I have Bombay Sapphire Gin and its AQUA BLUE!!!
Um, if your gin is blue then someone has stolen your gin and replaced it with toilet bowl cleaner. Please be advised.

Could have sworn they'd stick with Ripple.

Ever have Citadelle Gin? costs about the same as Sapphire and damn, it’s just excellent.
also, gin in bloody mary’s is better than vodka if you ask me.

Just out of curiosity, is there any drink the Obamas could have ordered that wouldn’t have been mocked here?

They probably prefer vodka and grape soda for those “special occasions”.

You don’t have to travel to Spain to knock yourself out with vodka like some homeless bum. Try a Rioja! Or a Sherry! How hard is that?
