The Goose is not French anymore BUT Imperia or Belvedere are much better anyway

Vodka all tastes alike to me. But then, I could barely distinguish Pepsi from Coke, so...

I’d peg him for a short dog of port in a paper bag.

It's just a martini made with Grey Goose brand vodka.
Basically, it's the default drink to order in a trendy restaurant or nightclub.
A martini is obviously a very safe, non-controversial drink order and specifying Grey Goose - as one of the most heavily promoted "top shelf" liquors - means that you are consciously ordering what you believe to be a hip, expensive drink.

OK, as a non-drinker I have to ask....what is a Grey Goose Marini? It's a vodka martini made from Grey Goose, an expensive French vodka. Classic martinis are usually made with either gin or vodka, gin being the more traditional.

No kidding? I’ve never had blue gin. The bottle is blue, but the gin is clear.

I have a recipe for sauteed pork chops in sweet vermouth with caramelized onions and stuffed olives that is awesome, but I’d never drink the stuff!

Grey Goose is a vodka you order to be pretentious, fitting for the “all hat, not cattle” Presidential party.

Vermouth is evil.Perhaps, but without it, you're just drinking a glass of gin.
