Well, then, I assume that you condemn studies that include them (e.g. Heritage) as dishonest.
Actually, there are quite a few private jobs that are both dangerous and essential to the public safety (e.g. mining).
The number is so absurd on its face that I can only assume that the "source" is one that is usually explored by a doctor with a little flashlight and a rubber glove.
Hmmm. You seem to suggest and imply this is normal, and just the way it is....
I could not help but notice your post left out any word regarding, "government".
The article is not referring to white or blue collar private sector workers.
Those in government are way over paid, and their ranks are bloated....Government dramatically needs to be reduced in size and scope.
These millions of government bureaucrat employees, are no better than welfare parasites.
They need to go.
Please provide a link that directly dispute this.
Are you a government employee?
The old trick of those support big bloated, all controlling government...
No sale slick.
Ya see, the government at all levels, has millions of overpaid, unnecessary bureaucrats....This is no secret...
So stop with the military bull sh*t.
In a recent report, the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) found that state and local government employees pay a wage penalty of about four percent for working in the public sector, relative to those at the same age and education level in the private sector. In the "raw" data -- that is before controlling for age and education -- state and local government workers appeared to earn about 13 percent more than private-sector workers. But, state and local workers are, on average, about four years older than private-sector workers and half have a four-year college-degree or more, compared to less than 30 percent in the private sector. Once these differences in age and education are factored in, state and local public workers earn less, not more, than their private-sector counterparts...
You guys are idiots or ignorant. I’m hoping it’s the latter.
You guys are idiots or ignorant. Im hoping its the latter.
Says someone on the government payroll, relying on tax money for an income...
lol...
... says the public "servant" to those whose largesse upon which he depends.
You certainly sound like a government employee.
Once these differences are factored in, state and local public workers earn less than their private-sector counterparts...
You think anyone buys this bull sh*t?
From the link you provided:
CEPR spokespersons have advocated for liberal positions
The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) is a progressive economic policy think-tank based in Washington, DC, founded in 1999. CEPR works on Social Security, the US housing bubble, developing country economies (particularly Latin America), and gaps in the social policy fabric of the US economy.
You come on to a conservative site and drag this in?
LOL!
