Yes, I understand, y'all don't let proper hermeneutics, word meaning, facts or reason to get in the way of our transforming God's Revelation of Himself into a Cosmic version of Where's Waldo, where Waldo is the AntiChrist. I'm sure that God is just tickled with the idea that people are using His Revelation not to seek Jesus Christ, but as a detailed treasure map to seek out and identify the Anti Christ (ignoring again John's own description of the "spirit of antichrists")

Of course this raises a question similar to one about what the dog intends to do if he does catch the car - what if you do identify the Anti-Christ? Isnt'it a bit late in the game and you will be LEFT BEHIND?

And last time I checked, the Parable of the Ten Virigins was about anticipating and getting ready for the arrival of the Bridegroom, not the AntiChrist. And since you brought up the topic of Noobie, isn't it your system the true newbie on the block, being around in various forms for less than a couple centuries, and even that it is largely confined to unaccountable non-confessionary, non-creedal, non-denominational congregations in the U.S.? Isn't that the definition of a fad rather than core doctrine?

So lets look a bit closer at this Mecca clock. Isn't their clock more likely to be in-line with the predominant system going on in Daniel's day? Wasn't that culture using a lunar system rather than our quasi solar/cesisum atom model? Weren't both the Hebrew and Babylonian calendars religious in nature, managed by the priests, and based on the cycles of the moon? Wouldn't that make the current international civil system be as alien to the one Daniel was familiar with as one could get without refering to time as "Star Date" uttered with a Klingon accent?

I liked it back when y'all reckoned that the ten horns were the ten nations of the European Union. I guess Daniel's prophecy has changed since then, and will probably continue to change as Asia rises.

Like everyone could "clearly see" that the oil spill in the Gulf was God's Judgment against the US for "cursing Abraham" by the act of our State department stating off-record that the US would not automatically support Israel in the UN. Or like everyone could "clearly see" that Saddam's Iraq was going to wage war against Israel. Or like everyone could "clearly see" that the Ten Horns was Europe and the European Union. Maybe you are talking about the 20/20 vision of the date setters who seem to miss the mark every year. For a hundred years, the "feet of clay mixed with iron" was "clearly seen" as being a Reconstituted Rome. Now using the exact same Scriptures, y'all can "clearly see" that this "feet of clay mixed with iron" is really Iran (oops, that was last year) or Saudi Arabia.

Y'all can't even "clearly see" that the Hebrew word used in the passage in Daniel that y'all translate as "time" didn't mean a large 300' high clock tower in Mecca.
