There is a little bit of Lindsay Graham in every Republican, and even one strand of the psychotic self hating closeted queer Graham gene is enough to turn them all into gutless, sniveling, effete pansies. They may slow things down some from the frenzied pace of the past 18 months, but they will not change the course.

Here’s my biggest fear:
Socialists have figured out that capitalism will always shame them in the long run. They know the only way to permanently institute socialism anywhere is to do it in all the major economies the world over. Leave on major capitalist economy standing and it will eventually threaten everything and everyone socialist anywhere/everywhere in the world, merely by example.
Therefore, the world’s socialists will not allow the teapartyers to pull america back from socialism. My fear is that obama is the result of billionaire socialists the world over scheming and scamming and laying strategy for decades in america. Obama is the socialists D-day invasion of their biggest deadliest enemy...american free enterprise and the american constitution.
They’ve got it all wrapped up except for the little details folks. You think they are going to care about one little election? It’s already a done deal. You can’t trust republican politicians. They are too easily influenced. If they were going to do anything, they would’ve done it by now. We are going to have a house and senate full of democrats and scott browns and juan mccains.

Put NASA, CIA and Coast Guard under the Joint Chiefs.
Then take a deep breath and replace the Income Tax with a sales tax.
Every politician or wannabe politician needs to read and understand this article.
Lindsey Graham is McCain’s lapdog. Unfortunately, he’s not up for reelection this year. But his dog day is coming.

She’s a conservative in progress. Good instincts, not enough wisdom yet. I’m praying that any combination of DeMint/Hunter/Rounds/S. King/Bachmann/Inhofe/Pence runs for 2012. But we need to take care of bizness for 2010, to halt the gangrene.

Actually, in most politicians. We have to remember that and start using that.
Having them more afraid of us than the Washington Post wouldn't be as good as having persons with true character as our representatives, but it would still work.
There is something seriously wrong with most people who enter politics for a career. The great thing about the Tea Party movement is that most of those now involved aren't looking for a career.

But some of the issues raised ... WHEW!!
The integrity of the November 2 election MUST be assured or there WILL be blood. Any election cheating must be dealt with brutally and swiftly. No mercy. If you haven’t volunteered yet to serve as a poll watcher in your town, or to serve in some other official election role, please do so now. Somebody honest has got to watch the vote from the inside ... and it wouldn’t hurt to have a few guys on quiet stand-by to watch from the outside, too.
Amputation is indeed required. Lots of it! And there won’t be time for anaesthesia, so hang on, folks! The howling will be epic! People are going to scream when you tell them NASA and the National Weather Service (and a long list of thers) have got to go, but they ain’t mentioned in the Constitution. It’s gonna hurt, bad.
Think of it this way ... you have police, fire, street repairs and school buses in your town. Do you need anything else? Yes, but the state can cover most of those. Any other REAL needs from your government? Come on now ... REAL needs, except the military and post offices and a few other things? Chop! Chop! Chop!
And finally ... defaulting on our debt. Ouch.
I’ve been thinking for some time now that a deliberate default on U.S. debt might be required. Otherwise, our nation never, ever recover from the debt payments now facing us. Hyper-inflation hurts everybody but default on the debt hurts those who own U.S. Treasury instruments. (I’d love to hear some ideas here.)
