Former Congressman Duncan Hunter.

That's all he'll ever be. What's his executive experience anyhow?

Get back to me when you post an article that shines a favorable spotlight on some other potential presidential contender aside from Precious. Then we can have an intelligent conversation.

In the meantime, I recommend this.

If Republicans reject Sarah Palin, we don’t deserve to win

Sorta like Hunter is with Whitman? He’s more than willing to vote for her while ‘good conservative freepers’ aren’t.

I’m sure he voted for John McCain too, after stuffing him, along with Mitt and Rudy, into the “Kennedy wing of the Republican party”. Though I noticed a he hasn’t lifted a finger for him since.

Hehehe. Sarah is cagey with the libs. She has them hanging on her every word and her every keyboard entry on Facebook.

Keep 'em guessing Sarah...then roll in in 2012 like a Texas storm front and take this thing and put the country back on the right track. She is just the person who can do that...and I pray she will.

The undisputed difference between Barack Hussein Obama and Sarah Palin.

Barack Hussein Obama is anti-American and committed to fundamental change that transforms our nation into marxism.
Sarah Palin is a red blooded American who loves liberty, our way of life, and our constitution and is committed to them all.

WHAT SARAH PALIN REPRESENTS AND HOW SHE TRUMPS LIBERALISM IN 2012

You don’t actually buy that do you?

Do you have a different explanation?

Can you explain why NO ethics charges were made BEFORE she was announced as Veep nominee, but proliferated immediately afterward? How had her position as Gov. changed? What issues were different?

Sarah realized that she would never be able to get anything done for Alaska, with all of these silly charges wasting her, and her staff's time. She had done as much as she could, and she knew that her Lt. Gov. would continue the work she had begun, and for which she was elected. By leaving the office, she was removing herself as a target. It was obvious that it was SHE, personally, who was the target, because AFAIK, her Lt.Gov. hasn't had to put up with that frap since he took over.

I don’t think I do. A lot of people were syaing EXACTLY the same type of things about Reagan in 1979 and 1980...I remember it well. They thought he was “just an actor” and he proved them all wrong. I believe Palin will do the same if given the chance...and I hope she gets it.

Palin supported the LOST Treaty and carbon trading.

Google it.

How is that conservative? May be some reasons McCain chose her.

I think the one person that can unite everyone is Thune. He appeals to everyone, the social cons, the fiscal cons, 2nd amnedment cons, etc.

He is good looking, well spoken, smart, articulate, not divisive, not polarizing, and scares the crap out of the DNC.

I love Sarah and will do whatever I can to help her if she runs, and my heart is 1000000% with Sarah, but my head tells me Thune is our guy for 2012 victory w christie as the No. 2.

Yes, but by 1979 Reagan was the most astute politician in the country. An expert on communism, constititionalism, and supply side economics. He was 68 years old and wise. Much wiser than Bill Buckley, IMO. Sarah may get there, but she has 20+ years of learning ahead of her to do so.

How is Thune on immigration? I kind of like him, but I don’t know a whole lot about him.

Didn’t he unseat Tommy Daschele?

From what I have read he is very good. As far as I am concerned he is our best pick bar none, including sarah whom I adore immensely.

“Sarah Palin is a nice person but far too shallow. She has some kooky sound bites and says allot of what SHOULD be said but we need a competent person to RUN the government and she is not it. Thankfully her family seems to be getting under control ... I hope she keeps running aroun trashing Obama and liberals - she’s good at that and we should leave it at that.”

Mmmm. Maybe some dull, old white guy. Preferably a Senator... you know, they have a lot of gravitas. Someone who knows how to reach across the aisle and work with the Democrats. Someone who can find “common ground.” Someone who’s brave enough to admit that the Democrats are, after all, nothing to be afraid of, and maybe even have some fine ideas. Someone who has some bright ideas of their own, like making political ads illegal before an election.

Oh, wait. We already had that pathetic loser for a candidate. His name is John McCain (in case you’ve all forgotten).

The fact is, Palin is the only high profile person on our team with the ability to stir and motivate people with a conservative message. There may be other fine conservatives out there, but if some of you consider Palin “unqualified” (as opposed to WHO? Our current Dictator-in-training?) the others can only be considered even MORE unqualified.

At this point of the game, it’s NECESSARY that our candidate has name recognition. It’s NECESSARY that people ALREADY know who they are, and - to some degree, what they stand for. The only other people I can think of like that are the pathetic has-beens from the last election and all of them have ALREADY been rejected by our own party. I really do think it’s too late for someone new to pop up out of nowhere and lead us to victory.

I’m telling you, the guy the dnc fears most is thune. They have said so. He is the guy for 2012 to unite everyone.

Yes, I remember McPain. Sarah Palin happily ran with him as his VP. Yes, I remember how Sarah Palin also ENDORSED and ADVOCATED that silly, dull, prinipless Republican. Yes, don’t remind me of Sarah Palin’s SUPPORT for McPain.

“The fact is, Palin is the only high profile person on our team with the ability to stir and motivate people with a conservative message.”

Sure she is “high profile” but she is way too polarizing and she is certainly NOT a “conservative”. She is a populist.

“There may be other fine conservatives out there, but if some of you consider Palin “unqualified” (as opposed to WHO? Our current Dictator-in-training?) the others can only be considered even MORE unqualified.”

She is too shallow as I said before. Yes, she has some fun sound bites and makes me laugh. I enjoy her sense of humor but I am not looking to have a comedian be my next President or a populist. I’m not sure yet who I will endorse. Jindall looks interesting. I relly don’t know yet. I do know that we will NOT win if Palin runs for President.

“At this point of the game, it’s NECESSARY that our candidate has name recognition. It’s NECESSARY that people ALREADY know who they are, and - to some degree, what they stand for. To be honest with you, I do agree with what you just said. I’m at a loss to name someone who fits that right now and can win. I have NO DOUBT that Palin will NOT WIN. There are people that practically worship her but she cannot win the WH. NO WAY!

That's the one glaring hole in this thread: Sarah Palin is inexperienced, but Duncan Hunter is . . . ?

I'm not even a Sarah supporter, yet, so I'm just curious: does the Falcon Party accept votes from women, or is it simply a bunch of old men shaking their canes in the air?

That’s one thing you should clarify for the rest of us: does the Falcon Party believe that women shouldn’t have the right to vote? We know Duncan Hunter doesn’t fall for that nonsense . . . .
