"I've never committed to running for president," Palin said on Fox News Sunday. "That's not where my focus is."

Instead, Palin says she is devoting her attention to getting Republicans back in office this fall.

More than a few FReepers have questioned whether Sarah Palin is ready to serve as President presuming she can get nominated, and assuming she can actually win the general election. The fact is, in comparison to past Presidents, Sarah Palin falls woefully short in the area of experience, and exceeds only one occupant of the Oval Office (the current one) in terms of political experience.

To that end, a summary of Presidential experience beginning with Comrade Zero and going back all the way to Harry Truman:

Sarah has less experience than did Jimmy Carter when he took the Oath of Office in January '77, and we all know how that slow motion train wreck turned out. Sarah is a great cheerleader, can motivate people to vote, but the unpleasant reality is that 13.9 years of experience simply isn't going to cut it.

I’m not big on “experience” in general. Clinton and Jimmuh had plenty. Wisdom, backbone and consistent conservatism along with military experience, however, is essential. There too, she falls short. Yet, if she does win, I will take her in a heartbeat over that communist stooge pretending to be president.

Truth be told Pissant, nobody in their right mind would choose 0bama over Sarah Palin, yours truly included.

I do believe however, that the Republican Party can do far better, and hopefully will.

Agreed. We’ve already seen what it’s like to have too much estrogen in the Oval Office, just look at the p****y we got in there right now.

This is fodder for fools.

No candidate that has a ‘Media’ job can commit to being a candidate without putting that job at risk.

The RNC elite supporters here would love for this to have substance, but alas, it is vapor!

“This could get ugly quick.”

Whenever the RNC elite start grasping at straws like this, its already ugly, and they are just picking at their loose stitches.

Yet another idiotic article from the notoriously loony let New York Daily News?
Its good to see the lefties quaking in their communist boots over the prospect of the by now almost certain Sarah Palin run for president in 2012.

“I’ve never committed to” and “is not committed to” are not the same. But you know that. It’s easier to just make crap up, isn’t it?
