I believe Rove has a very low threshold for anti-Palin comments, simply because she’s not from the ruling class yet threatens to rise above it politically.

I wonder if Rove didn't really think twice about her using "cojones" and when asked about it he took the opportunity to censure Mrs Palin.
The word reflected her mood and was hardly tasteless.
Ironic that Rove would (feign) abhorrence at Mrs Palin uttering "cojones" yet nary a peep from Rove being dubbed "turd blossom" by his former boss, President Bush.
And I'm sure Rove has heard a lot worse than "cojones" emitting from the mouths of women at some of the parties and private political functions he's attended.

Rove was advising George W. Bush on the push for amnesty. Rove allowed the Democrats to hammer home the Democratic party mantra “Bush lied and people died” when he and Bush knew that leaders of the Democratic party had stated that Sadaam Hussein had WMD. Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as Al Gore, were televised demanding regime change in Iraq.

Carl Rove just criticized Sarah Palin for saying that Barack Obama didn’t have the cojones to close the borders. I believe he said that he would not have used that kind of language. I am certain that he would not use the kind of language that would sufficiently express the contempt that I have for him and for George W. Bush.

Wrong. Obama has what a bully, a terrorist or any sociopath has—the inclination to proceed only when the advantage is overwhelmingly his.

Obama would never have the cojones to go against the crowd, or to do something politically unpopular, unless he has them trapped, handcuffed or otherwise overwhelmed in terms of power. Like he does now. Even now, as Chief Executive and CIC, he can’t say publicly what he really wants to do to the Constitution and to this country.

Because Obama has no cojones.

This concept is very important if you want to understand the difference between Sarah Palin and Obama, or between conservatives and liberals in general.

Maybe because she is the most talented natural politician we’ve had in a generation, she seems to bring out the patronizing condescension in pundits both amateur and professional!

What truth? Really. It was simply a shock jock type comment geared towards her base. It worked so well the infighting on the right is more than the left could have dreamed up on their own.

Your depth of thought is non-existant. Characteristic of name-callers. Consider yourself ignored.

Excuse delay - dropped between the cracks.

Go back and read about how the 1970’s/80’s SEA refugee sponsorship program was structured. Many churches were involved, also small businesses. The goal was grooming refugees to learn American values, learn the language, and to become self sufficient. Why would proposing a similar solution for registered immigrants here, make you so angry?
Apples and oranges - those people WANTED (by and large) to become Americams and assimilated. SO ANGRY? You infer too much.

[Sponsoring]Maybe I could - though I am approaching retirement age, and have already spent the past decade fulltime engaged in raising and educating 2 new freedom-loving American citizens from 2 kids adopted from a 3rd world hellhole, who I agreed to sponsor and raise and support.
Again, you are dealing with people who wanted to assimilate. These 20-million plus illegals want to live like Americans, not become them.

I think I’ve done and am doing my individual share. Who have you opened your home to, here in America?
No one - just as no one opened their door to my dad from Germany in the '20s. You adopted kids - who adopts the adults? I pay my dues by being a volunteer reading tutor at a middle school. Most the kids are Hispanics who we are trying to bring up to speed. Language isn't the problem - these kids' fathers won't allow them to speak or read English at home - "Spanish is your heritage" they are told. That is what we are up against and what I am complaining about. Your attitude is somewhat Pollyana-ish.
