First off, and I know Rush has talked about this. The oil leak is sweet oil. It is not harmful to marine life. It will dissipate quickly. The hurricane did much to clean the beaches naturally.
This is not to say, that there should not have been a clean up, and all out effort to stop the leak,
But Obama wanted a castatrophe for secondarty gain and felt this was perfect....
THe oil business is a dangeroud business.
I have such low regard for our Congress now. Is there no one with any sense on the hill?
And I love the thing about Pelosi and company not even putting to vote for an independent look at the spill, instead it’s only environmentalists.
I had a dream last night that BP merged with EXXON.
Useful post. I wasn’t aware of it.
On this point, I should point out that as stupid as the ban on Savage coming to the UK was (and it was), his rights were not violated.
For a person to enter a country other than his own is a privilege, not a right. Whether it was correct or justified to ban Michael Savage is technically irrelevant, he could have been banned from entering the country for having an offensive haircut, and his rights would not have been violated, as he had no right to enter Britain in the first place.
Likewise, the US would have an absolute right to deny entry to any foreigner for whatever reason they want, silly or otherwise, and the constitution wouldn’t come into it. The right to eject and bar entry to foreigners for whatever reason is an absolute right for any nation, unless their own domestic laws or constitution says otherwise, but that would be a matter for them to decide...
Must have not done it right, because it looks like a do over is necessary.

And yet, Mr. Weiner is still a free man.
