I lived in Los Angeles for 30 years, and I have never been to Mexico. I hope they ban me ;-)
The biggest problem with any illegal immigrant amnesty proposal is that the Arizona law suit by the Feds has convinced the general public never to support amnesty under any circumstances.
No one outside the ruling class believes the Feds will enforce the law against illegals already here.
Any law, including non-immigration criminal and civil law they enforce against citizens.
