Yes, but then we stuck with Joe “the idiot” Biden.

As they say in Delaware: "But he's OUR idiot."

Personally, whether Obama or McCain got elected we would have still been in a bad situation as they are spoiled to “the hill” and both birds of a feather. Barry was absent more than present but liberals were too into “the smart educated change man” to see anything about his record. The media made everyone and themselves stupid voters.

While listening to a town hall meeting last night of a “conservative” Congressman, a lady who was a business owner was talking about how hard it was getting to keep her business open due to government regulations and upcoming healthcare costs. Well, the CC’s reply was something like this.. “Just call my office and we have a staff that might can help you out with that as there are many programs and funds available for small businesses.” THIS is the problem. Handouts to everyone as the debt mounts on everyone’s back. It won’t get better getting a handout as this is not a conservative approach. Same office where I asked what happens to all the Medicare/Medicaid Hover-arounds when someone dies and why they are not government property. I got a form letter that didn’t answer my question. And, he’s the most conservative in the November race.

We’ve lost our Christianity, morals and integrity so it’s downhill from here.

"But that's the story of his life: he's always lived on our dime. "

Even his much-touted "community organizer" efforts were paid for by taxpayers.

The only thing of any substance he has on his resume (he was a lousy state senator and never served as U.S. senator because he began running for President as soon as he got to Washington) is his so-called community organizing.

He was going to teach job skills and self-reliance.

Baloney.

All he did was help people become more dependent on government handouts..."redistribution of wealth" by taking from those who earned it and giving it to those who didn't.

No wonder unrealistic deadbeats love the guy.

Obama's not just the first mixed-race president. He's the First Moocher.

This line does the best job of describing Obama I've ever seen. He is the first president we've ever had who has lived his entire life as a leech!

This is his typical work day. Now I understand the need for all the parties and vacations. This guy must be exhausted with this grueling work schedule.

9:30 AM Obama and Biden receive the daily presidential briefing.

10:00 AM Obama receives the daily economic briefing.

11:30 AM Obama signs the financial reform bill. Biden attends.

12:45 PM Obama and Biden have lunch with members of the House.

2:30 PM Obama meets with senior advisers.

3:45 PM Obama receives a briefing on the Gulf oil spill.

4:00 PM
5:00 PM

According to the historian Livy this is the same attitude fostered on the Roman people that brought down Tarquin, the last Roman king, and brought about the revolution that created the Roman republic. Sic Semper Tyrannis

It is all about spitting in our face.

People struggling to make ends meet.

He demands we go further into debt so the unemployment benefits can continue on for 99 weeks.

On that very day he is engaging in an expensive party to honor Broadway.

It’s worse than LET THEM EAT CAKE. It’s more like LET THEM DROP DEAD

The lib media must be so proud of itself. Propping up this enemy of the people.

>Movin’-on-up president.<

NOT nice! George Jefferson was a small business owner and worked every day in his drycleaning store. He earned his place.

Perhaps he needs to be known as Perquisitus Maximus?

Perq, shortened form of Perquisite
per·qui·site/ˈpɜrkwəzɪt/
–noun
1. an incidental payment, benefit, privilege, or advantage over and above regular income, salary, or wages: Among the president's perquisites were free use of a company car and paid membership in a country club.
2. a gratuity or tip.
3. something demanded or due as a particular privilege: homage that was once the perquisite of royalty.

Origin: 1400–50; late ME < ML perquīsītum something acquired, n. use of neut. of L perquīsītus (ptp. of perquīrere to search everywhere for, inquire diligently).

perquisite. Dictionary.com. Dictionary.com Unabridged. Random House, Inc. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/perquisite (accessed: July 21, 2010).

Hmmm..diligent? Maybe not...except in the grabbing of more, More, MORE!

" The one with a pool in the backyard and the Xbox and the tennis court. You thought he was a jerk then. He's still a jerk now."

When "conservatives" are infused with class envy, is it any wonder that we have a commie in the White House.

Message: hate Obama `cause he is paid more than you do.

See, he's one of the "rich," don't you hate all such people.

What a pathetic and sophomoric screed.

The article isn't about envying his lifestyle. It's about the outrage that he doesn't work, encourages others who don't work, all while punishing those who are productive. Like a distant king on a throne, he ignores the real issues in favor of giving perks to his friends... perks that come from taking from "we, the People". THAT is the galling aspect. It has nothing to do with wanting more concerts, golf outings, or vacations for ourselves.

(But good use of the word "screed"!)

Zippo needs racial confrontation.

What Zippo is doing with his extravagant, in your face, lifestyle is race baiting straight out of the 1960’s.

In the 60’s there was a common racial term used for people that once they got a little money in their pocket they went hog wild with it.

Zippo is trying to get his opposition to use that racial term to describe his extravagant spending.

If he can get his opposition to use that term to describe his extravagant spending, then anyone that opposes Zippo’s extravagant spending can be labeled a racist.

Right on, FRiend.

My dear Mother, rest her soul, came from a tough italian neighborhood in Philly...would use that term to describe anyone who couldn't handle an influx of cash responsibly...a two word phrase , the last word being "rich"...but she came from a more honest time when you called a spade a spade, to coin a phrase !! lol

The new British Prime Minister afirmed to the Diane Sawyer that he flew commercial to the US to meet the President. He said "we are tightening our belts and cutting many programs, the private jet had to go."

Of course Diane didn't mention that two days before he arrived our Pres flew his dog and dog handler who makes $100,000+ a year salary in his own private jet to spend the day in Maine with his family.
