I cannot imagine what you can be thinking.
Anything but victory in both houses would mean that the country hasn’t the heart to strike back, and there would be no reason to try any more.
If the devastation of the last year and a half hasn’t done the trick, I can’t imagine what would.

Republicans do much better in opposition than they do in control. In opposition more of them act like they have some non socialist principles. They will fight this New Thing tooth and nail. If they get control they will sign on to maintaining whatever the Left has managed to get enacted, maybe tweak it a little so that a different mix of groups gets “benefited” more and will add some entitlements of their own.

However, as I've written on many FR threads and been mostly ignored, my hope lies in STATES' RIGHTS which is building exponentially. Many States are suing against the obscene obamacare. Others are simply passing State legislation to negate it, along with other State sovereignty measures.
The Fedgov electoral process is one-sided towards incumbents, full of fraud, and corrupt beyond redemption.
My best last hope is not in the electoral process (too many dumbed down electorate), but in enough States saying enough! That's where I'm putting my efforts. Best, Rodger

I still believe we may see a very large change in Nov from the electorate bringing in new candidates...not incumbants...who have a will to turn things arond.
We shall see.
A few of them have joind with us and having some success in our RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION effort. Harwell in the 4th District in Tennessee is one very worthy example.
