"I think she got a little too addicted to the celebrity and is trying to milk her 15 minutes of fame"

BINGO!!! Oe way for the Palin family to address this issue is to step out of the public limelight.

“Much as I would love to see her as President, I just don’t see it happening now. The proverbial can of worms has been been opened.”

You may be right. But what disturbs me the most is how eager conservatives to help the Left open the can a worms - all for the benefit of boosting their favorite candidate. If you have been watching these anti-Palin post as I have you would see the same pattern as I do. 80% of them come from the same handful of Freepers.

It’s going to kill them one way or another.

Either they get a strong conservative woman, which they can’t handle as members of the she-man woman haters club...

...or the get total RINO Mittens.

They’re irrational because they are in a lose-lose predicament. Funny, but sad.

"And I'm sure you have no problems....right."

Asinine comment of the week.

Of course, we ALL have problems.

But we don't market them.

Yup. How many times now have we heard different incarnations of the Palins and a reality show?

Wake me when one of the rumors actually comes true.

Hey, NavyCanDo - I heard a rumor that the Romneys were working on a deal for a reality TV show!

“Such a reality show would be viewed by millions upon millions and would help Sarah’s campaign in 2012.”

Depends on editing. If Bristol has editing control, the show might not turn out to be a wreck.

Wow. More white trash on TV.

Yep the “Clan from Wasilla” keeps on giving.... Who knows they may have a great marriage. The upcoming wedding maybe the first episode for the tv series.

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/38239802/ns/today-today_people/

“Bristol definitely has some interesting ideas for her wedding,” US Weekly executive editor Caroline Schaefer told NBC News in a story that aired Thursday morning on TODAY. “She wants to wear a Carolina Herrera gown … in white. She would like Levi and little Tripp to wear camo vests.”

Do you watch any reality shows? Like all the Real Housewives of OC, NY, ATL and NJ? Alot of fake drama to get the ratings plus outrageous behavior.

These ladies that participate love the fame and lower themselves to get the high ratings. Plus alot of these “housewives” have written books, started jewelry, clothing, makeup and skin care lines, all off of the success of their shows.

It’s gotten so ridiculous that it’s unwatchable. It was fun at first to watch the first seasons, but each has deteriorated as the seasons go on.

The Real Housewives of DC starts in August. Has that blond Whitehouse party crasher in the cast.

The good news is it will be the end of Palin’s chances to run for prez

Hence, the only reason you post unsubstantiated BS like this.
It must be aggravating that you can't promote the candidate(s) you prefer on their merits but rather have to tear down Sarah Palin via gossip, rumor, innuendo, and smears.
Speaks volumes of your personality and ethical defects. (That's a polite way of stating what a pathetic, little worm you are)

wow, disagree with someone’s choice for office and they’re an ethically defective “pathetic little worm”. Sad that political discourse has degraded to this level nowadays.

Wow, I missed your message on all of the Palin bashing threads where “palilnistas” is the word reserved for people supporting Palin.

I’m sure you just missed those threads....and welcome to FR.

My point, Cletus, was on pissant's purpose for posting this inane gossip.

Now run along and listen to Stairway to Stupor again.

Sarah, this is a non-story. It is in the news merely because it is perceived as a negative for Governor Palin by her enemies (cough Pissant, cough).

Those who hate Palin already will get their jollies off and laugh among themselves how this will hurt her, but in the end it'll have zero impact. Because her supporters know that Bristol is an adult and she's not running for president, Sarah is.

Such a reality show would be viewed by millions upon millions and would help Sarah’s campaign in 2012.

No, the only people who'll watch are the haters, so they can laugh when Jon Stewart and Jay Leno play clips and then give each other high-fives how "this is totally going to ruin that b---h Sarah dude!" Once the ratings start to nose-dive and her supporters remain at her side, the show will quietly get cancelled.

Like it or not, people view a mother's role in the family different from that of the father, and that is why the analogy to Ronald Reagan fails.

But Sarah did raise Bristol fine. Yes, she got pregnant at 17, but she kept the child and (initially) tried to make the relationship work with Levi. But now she's an adult and any decision she makes falls on her, not her Mom. The only thing Sarah can do is give her advice. She can't hold her hand anymore.

I would say this significantly impacts her chances as a serious contender for the Presidency in 2012.

How? This will be old news come the 2012 election. Everything that has been said about Sarah has already been said and discussed. The only thing Sarah has to do now is talk policy and talk about how she would solve the nation's problems. All of this stuff - her family, her resignation, is completely irrelevant.

I agree, frankly I can care less what Bristol does with her life. It’s her life and none of my concern. I got bigger things to worry about, like finding a job, then what Bristol Palin does..the ones that don’t like her, yeah they will get their jollies off of her suffering but you know what, Sarah at the end loses nothing because those people would have never voted for her anyway
