I used to scream at the tv for them to defend policies that were right and needed to be defended.
Unfortunately they are finally listening......
You are supposed to say to me:
“Can I buy you a drink or do you just want the money?”
:-)
I hope all is well with you and yours. :-)
I'll second that.....
:-)
Excellent post!
I posted some pics here about our area here, I told you to visit but you didn’t listen; life is tough: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2550407/posts?q=1&;page=51#68
Rove flatters himself and his boss by thinking that the fault was one failure to communicate a refutation of a single false charge. The larger problem was that the Bush administration had a communications strategy based on the fetal crouch. Again and again, they failed to communicate and defend a coherent position. This followed logically from George Bush’s own tongue tied preference not to communicate and his own lack of vision.
Ted Kennedy, eh? Looks like Teddy was the one doing the lying.
"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002
“Do you remember the day Rove talked about some illegal immigrant kid who was a valedictorian, or something to that effect? And Rove said he was going to start keeping a list of all the amazing, wonderful illegal immigrants he heard about. And I was screaming at the radio, Keep a list of all the illegals who rape, rob and murder us!”
Yea, we had one shoot and kill a cop a couple of years ago. It’s like there are two Republican Parties - the ones that get elected to the top (like Bush, or almost McCain), and the other 100 million or so. Insane.
Excellent! Yes, indeed!
Thank you for saying what needed to be said. If Rove was “The Architect,” what he built was a presidency that failed us on immigration, that failed us on cutting the deficit, that failed us on rolling back entitlements, that failed us with NCLB, that failed us with a massive new medical welfare subscription program, and then, in the final analysis — when the pressure was on — failed us by caving in on TARP.
Rove is horribly, horribly overrated. I’ll never forget — or forgive — his insipid, insidious response to Sarah’s stunning acceptance speech in 2008. Said Fat Boy, “Well, she really should have addressed her daughter’s pregnancy.”
What a jerk.
Absolutely gorgeous pics!
I’m sorry that I did not visit this thread.
It’s been very hectic the past couple weeks and work.
That's what I told him in a personal email. I told him that he (and Bush) were at fault that we now have the present clowns in D.C. He didn't like that one bit. Tough!
I would have invited that drunken puke-bag outside for a chat.
The Dem's and MSM declared all out war on GWB's integrity. It wasn't driven by the subject. They wanted to destroy the trust American people had in him. They succeeded and Rove's failure to see and respond to the larger stragety is disappointing at best.
You're not speculating, either. Indeed, that was the precise plan that emerged from the Democrat Senate Campaign Committee as they licked their wounds in January, 2003.
We know this, because a copy of the meeting's minutes fell into the hands of, as I recall, a liquor store owner -- when it was inadvertently left on his counter.
Moreover, we know that Joe Wilson (yes, Valerie Plame's Joe Wilson) and columnist Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times attended this meeting and were privy to the decision.
It should be obvious to everybody that the liberal opposition will stop at nothing to win each and every election. And that the MSM is an integral part of that liberal opposition.
:-)
Exactly. And people say there’s no way Romney or Huckabee could get the nomination next time, but there is. We have open primaries, and we start in liberal states. The MSM persuades the uninformed that our RINOs are great and our conservatives are wingnuts. I just hope history doesn’t repeat itself in 2012. We really can’t afford to run another McCain.
No sh—! Karl. Oh and don’t forget not closing the border, Ramos and Campeon, oh yeah, NAFTA, and what was this thing with Harriet Myers being the best candidate possible for the Supreme Court.
