No offense, but I'd kill myself if I had to live in an apartment...Did that when I was young, and I hated every minute of it......Never ever again.... Living in an apartment complex full of Section 8 receipients was sufficient motivation to move my young family into our first house.
Only problem is they seem to be moving into single-family detached homes, some in some pretty nice neighborhoods around here.

One mans floor, another mans ceiling... And the nice folks upstairs are training the new Olga Korbut and the Royal Lipizzaner Stallions at the same time.

You bet Chode....I love that name, BTW...
When we were stupid and young, my wife and I were forced to live in civilian barracks....We even taught our parakeet to say, "Kill the landlord"...
Real human beings are not made to live in apartments.
Most middle class apartments nowadays have psychos, arsonist, murderers, and freaks living above and below you...
I swear, I'd kill myself before I ever went through that again....
A nice motor home would appear before that ever occurred. !

There is NOTHING redeeming about section eight housing. I know, I have pulled secondary in one for 11 years and its the only way to keep the weekly shootings and stabbings down.
What does "pulled secondary" mean?

I refer to apartments as “Filing Cabinets for People”.
I have lived in a few apartments (now THAT is the ultimate misnomer...), and as soon as I could, I got the h*** outta Dodge. When the house went up beside me I got a bit squirrelly, but I’ve adjusted to it, but will be heading for the hills as soon as practicable.

Real human beings are not made to live in apartments.Back when people were still sane, they were called "tenements," and decent people did everything they could to get their families out of them.
