Additions to Last Night’s Funding Bill

The War Funding bill that passed the House last night had several additions such as the “Deemed as Passed” budget provision, FEMA funds for disaster assistance, and money to settle pending lawsuits with African-American farmers and Indians:

“The U.S. House of Representatives attached a $3.4 billion government settlement with Indian trust beneficiaries to a war- funding bill that it passed just before breaking for the July Fourth holiday.

More fodder for the November elections.

Why are we paying these people more than most Americans will earn in years, when they do not perform up to minimum standards (following the Constitution)? They are all theives and belong in jail.

It sure would be nice if a “War Funding” bill could be limited to the war being funded - but this has been going on so long it’s ingrained in our standard operating procedure.
