"Or that another stimulus program passed."

Righto. If increasing imports meant more jobs, we would be at full employment.

Quickest way to cure the trade deficit is to send your economy into a recession. So have faith in Obama—LOL.

This is huge as we are no longer in decline. Chalk up another victory for the administration, right next to their heroic feat of stopping H1N1 from becoming a pandemic, per Axlerod.

Just go out and get a JOB! You're all just lazy and feeding at the trough! Are you too proud to work?

Are those all the buzz responses of the currently employed? After all, 1.65 MILLION MORE people are just lazing around, and they get to start starving next week. What could possibly go wrong?

That’s 260 jobs per state. I’m old enough to have a Whip Inflation Now button courtesy of Gerald Ford. I can see the Jobs, Jobs, Jobs buttons being ordered now - from China.

“Today’s report adds to concerns that the economic recovery is stalling”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I am not at all concerned that the economic recovery is stalling! That which does not exist cannot possibly stall.

It would be political suicide for Dems in swing district to vote for another stimulous, but if they know for sure they’re goners in Nov., they just might.

What would be more likely is for Dems to pass a stimulus in the lame duck period between Nov. and Jan. if the GOP wins the House.

If Dems lose the House, watch for all kinds of havoc to be wreaked during the lame duck session: shamnesty, cap and tax, tax increases, card check - you name it.

It will be up to the Senate to block any and all legislation during that session, and I’m guessing that they will have a mandate to do as such.

Look, folks, POTUS Obama has to go. Everything that buffoon lays his incapable hands on fails. Millions of American workers, their families, all races, etc. are suffering without jobs because Obama with “his” plan is killing off private sector jobs. Investors will not invest, employers will not hire new workers as long as these “Democrat” Party America destroyers remain in power. It is now time for the American people to raise their voices demanding that the Democrat Party force POTUS Obama to resign or impeach him immediately. This horrible man has not only destroyed the lives of millions of common folk, he is destroying America and the futures of our children!!! Wise up, America and...force the Democrat Party to broom or impeach POTUS Obama, the America hater and lover of Reverand Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan, both Black racists and haters of Israel and all Jews!!! Some POTUS the American people elected!!!

13000? That's just a few pebbles in the pond.

That should be the DOW's number not the number of jobs added. Pathetic.

How do these 13,000 jobs compare with the 1.8 million new unemployment claims that were filed that same month?

How many of those 13,000 jobs were Census jobs [temporary taxpayer-funded] and how many were government jobs [full-time taxpayer-funded] ???

It’s called Depression. The 0bama Depression.

Couple a Community Organizer with a radical agenda and this is what we get. In 6 months, anyone with an 0bama bumper sticker still on his car is going to be asking for an azz kicking.

You didn’t get my point. Generally, an increasing trade deficit means that the economy is expanding, and vice versa

That is only true if the increasing trade deficit is due to low wage manufacturing jobs being exported and replaced by higher paying jobs ... obstenibly in the service sector. This would create greater consumer demand for low cost product which would increasingly be imports. Service is much more difficult to "export", therefore trade deficits would mount.
