IMHO, he has WAY too much (albiet self-imposed) power

There should be a criminal investigation into how this administration has been negligent in clean up, accepting help and avoiding the disaster. He knew about problems with the rig in Feb.

There is talk of an Obama executive order to declare illegals amnesty

I am sure many here have already said this, but thank the Lord that we had President Reagan.

I have heard that too - and as soon as word gets out South of the Border - there will be a stampede to get to the USA! Not only Mexicans - but those with terrorist intent!

Obama seems to want to kill jobs. Thank goodness for the companies that brought suit. The moratorium would be a big hit on the economy and gas prices. Not to mention an abuse of power and Soros money maker.

Judge Martin L.C. Feldman issued an injunction, saying that the moratorium will hurt drilling-rig operators and suppliers and that the government has not proved an outright ban is needed, rather than a more limited moratorium.

He also said the Interior Department also misstated the opinion of the experts it consulted. Those experts from the National Academy of Engineering have said they don't support the blanket ban.

"Much to the government's discomfort and this Court's uneasiness, the summary also states that 'the recommendations contained in this report have been peer-reviewed by seven experts identified by the National Academy of Engineering.' As the plaintiffs, and the experts themselves, pointedly observe, this statement was misleading," Judge Feldman said in his 22-page ruling.

Old Whigs, Conservatism’s fathers, were always critical of application of arbitrary power. Abuse of arbitrary power, outside the rule of law, is just what these commissions and agencies are the worst at putting in place.

This ruling makes that clear. It over reached and was arbitrary.

That is also why the legislator used the word “shakedown” when referring to the President strong-arming BP for an escrowed fund — its arbitrary, not like a court finding liability and setting up a fund for like claims.

Each branch should do its primary duty and stay out of the other branches spheres. Obama doesn’t like executive accountability so he wants to rule by a judicial like decree method.

President Obama, you can get a straw and suck it up. You have the authority and the duty. Do your job.
