"He said I know this is going to be — lead to some, quote, difficulty for the guys who work on those rigs.

Well, if he thinks that some guys on the rigs are the only people that are going to be affected by a six-month oil moratorium, he’s out of his cotton-picking mind."

I suppose the Mod on deck would zot Mark Twain, too, credited with having written the first great American novel.
After Moby ****. (How’s that, your modness?)

'cutting in high cotton', which means 'have it easy', refers to the relatively easy task of cutting cotton without having to bend down.

I use to think I was a cotton planter earlier in my life, but I have never cut cotton or heard of it.

Yeah, I read the link.
It simply means that you have rough hands from the difficulty of the task.

If the effected are hard working non union member entrepreneurs, they are the left’s enemies.

When you're a racist, like those on the left, you'll see EVERYTHING through the prism of race, and see racism in EVERYTHING ...

Yours is an excellent synopsis of what the left is all about. I might use this when speaking to some of my lefty associates, if that’s ok.

It may have been meant to rhyme with “frickin.”

The saying "cotton pickin", was around LONG before anyone thought to clean up the 'f' word by saying 'frickin', instead.

George Patton is a liberal by FR standards, and I've even been told off myself from time to time.

No, according to Juan McAmnesty, illegals pick lettuce, in Yuma, for only pennies because no American citizen will pick lettuce for even $50/hour.

I take great umbrage to your racist comment regarding “frickin”.
That is an insult to all us fricks.
Oh. Wait. You said frick, not d*ck.
Nevermind. LOL
