King has in the last year or so spewed some strong left-wing hate-speech. Just sayin’.
Ringo was always my favorite. Don’t hear his signs of dementia outbursts, like Sir Paul’s.
Wow. I didn’t realize that. I don’t follow her at all and I went to see JT, not her. Not surprised she’s a crazy left winger though. That’s why I was pretty shocked that there were no shout outs.
Tell a lie enough times, it becomes the truth. - Joseph Goebbels
Not just McCartney, a lot of people from certain Northern areas of the United States are unable to pronounce “saw”. It comes out of their mouths as the last syllable of dinosaur. “I saur your brother yesterday, he was buying a chain saur.”
Down South we say, “I sawyer brother yesterday, he was buyin’ a chain saw.”
Paul was
Forrest was always respectful to those who were smarter than he was, unlike the disgusting crowd of ignorant celebrities who live in a fantasy land where their sixth grade equivalent education trumps George Bush’s Harvard MBA and jet fighter pilot background. Of course if it is a Muslim usurper with a Harvard law degree who calls a corps a corpse and speaks of 57 or more American states that is a Camel of a different color and must be some kind of genius Messiah. Truly the land is awash in fools and idiots.
Good for Elton John!!
My favorite writer of lyrics is always John Prine. I may not agree with what he says but he has a unique way of expressing things.
“Last time I checked my bankroll, it was gettin’ thin
Sometimes it seems like the bottom
is the only place I’ve been
Chased a rainbow down a one way street, dead end
And all my friends turned out to be...insurance...salesmen”
To RipSawyer that is what I call imagery, your mileage may vary of course.
“...I saw her in her native garb — a dirty sweatshirt and grubby jeans with bed-head hair.”
I worked with a rather unfortunate-looking young woman back in the early 70s, but she made up for it with an almost charming aggressive nature. She fell in love with, and became impregnated by, a Syrian guy named “Mohammed” who treated her like dirt. But she was totally infatuated with “his beautiful big brown eyes” and turned a deaf ear to her friends when they commented on how she was being abused.
Of course, once she had the baby, he disappeared. This was her first up close and personal experience with the status of women, especially infidel women, who become involved with Muslim men. I learned a lot, too.
And I didn’t even have to sleep with “Mo” to gain valuable insight...
Well, she is damned lucky that he disappeared. Many similar women have had their children taken away to the Middle East and can never see them again, since those countries grant the father custody and that's that. If the girls try to call their mother or escape, they are gang-raped as punishment by male relatives.
