A little something extra: super-liberal Greg Sargent, writing for the WaPo, was goofing on Sarah Palin for saying we should have accepted help from "the Dutch."
Now, that's the way he wrote it -- "the Dutch," in sneer-quotes.
"Don't miss Sarah Palin's take: She faults the Obama administration for not soliciting the help of "the Dutch," who are "known for dikes and for cleaning up water and for dealing with spills":
Bwah-hah-hah-ha! "The Dutch!" Have you ever heard something so crazy?
Well, actually, dude, we have. From a "Dutch" "minister," in fact.
What does this mean? It means that Sarah Palin was talking about something he'd never heard before and was using sneer-quotes to indicate what an absurd idea he thought it was.
In other words, he was ignorant, and used his own ignorance against Sarah Palin.
I find that happens a lot with the left. They simply do not hear about this stuff and, as the MFM is mostly liberal, it doesn't publicize such things, and of course they don't read righty sites. So they just remain ignorant of many stories, but then get all arrogant about that.
My other observation is that the WaPo has a superliberal covering the left and another liberal covering the right. Balance.

I think Obama wants this spill to continue. It is giving him coverage on stuff he’s doing as executive orders and it is making a massive amount of profit for his buddies (NALCO) and he thinks it may give him the push to pass his cap and trade bill. Also, it is possibly so toxic to the humans in the area that they may be able to “off” the 25 million Bill Ayers was talking about and then some. In fact, some estimates I’ve read have said as many as 40 million human deaths could result from the dispersant.
I wonder what the naysayers will say when all those “coffins” are actually put to use.

This is NOT just an American problem, it’s the whole world’s problem.
It’s strange that ‘Libs’ will kill for a New World Order but Obama turned down the world’s offer of help. Thirteen countries offered expertise and equipment. But Obama fiddles, golfs, plays basketball and takes holidays.
This is far worse than the earthquake in Haiti.
BP is compensating the US and the bleeding heart Liberal media is dead silent about how this is going to affect other small, helpless countries.
Tourism is Haitii, Jamaica and Cuba’s only real source of income and survival. They don’t have money for oil booms or clean-up. Is this part of a plan to bring these poor countries to their knees?
Then he uses this to plug up America’s own oil supplies.
God forgive whoever sabotaged the well because the rest of the world never will. But I’m sure Obama won’t ‘waste this extremely convenient crisis’.
My understanding is that the symptoms start with burning eyes, then itching or burning skin, then difficulty breathing and progressing to red blood cells bursting. I really don’t know how much or how little exposure causes the initial symptoms but I’ll look around and see if I can find more info for you.
