i think much of it has to do with the youth vote being one heck of a lot stupider now than in 1979. Kids and women put this fool in office.

When a colleague was pointing out to him that the federal budget deficit was over $1.6 trillion, his response was, “Why does that matter to you?” He really didn’t understand the detrimental effects of such a fiscal policy.
