I bet it won’t be tried in my neighborhood. Hoodlums such as these would be held face down in the mud at gunpoint awaiting arrival of the police. If they were lucky.

Sounds like a hate crime.

The media doesn’t talk about the violent (arsonist) antics of the Far Left extremists.

Or tenured college marxists.

I supposed in some places they could be one and the same.

Yesterday I had to get diesel for the tractor, at the end of the road there was a large American flag hung upside down from the porch of mobile home. Brought tears to my eyes.

Flag Vandalism Mars

At first I thought this had to do with Sheila Jackson Lee.

Remember a few years back when the Rebel Flag was ‘outlawed’.

People said it wouldn’t be long before the U.S. Flag would follow the same path, since it would be tarnished as racist as well.

Well..., here we are.

Wait until the children of the people who do this, have to live under the system they are ushering in.

If a criminal arsonist attempted to set my home on fire, or equivalently attempted to set a flag on fire while it was hanging from the pole on the side of my home, I would react appropriately to that immediate threat to my family’s safety. I know the law, and I would follow the law. The good news is that when the police arrived, there would be only one version of what happened - the truth.

I wonder if these acts are the result of a lack of respect engendered by the Supreme Court’s flag decisions?

...unfortunately, i would agree with the sentiment that hung the flag...

Yeah...it's real unfortunate...

'Cause odds are the piece of human excrement that hung that flag upside down is a Che-loving, socialistic, liberal asshole that never put himself in harms way to defend that flag.

I don't care what your damned sentiment is...the Flag of the United States of America is not a political statement item for a bunch of dipshit liberal whine babies.

Fly it proud or don't fly it all!

I have no, zip, none, nada use for the ignorant dumbass that currently occupies the White House...he is not my president, and I will go to my death before I ever acknowledge him as such and I mourn for my country, as she is in mortal pain, but to attempt to soothe one's own pain for such by flying a hard-fought-for symbol upside down, well, it's just damned irresponsible and disrespectful, and I can see no upside to it whatever.

untrue. if he were a che-loving leftie, he would have hung a cuban or mexican flag. (and yes, they do that in this country)

hanging the flag upside down is a sign of distress.... which i believe you would agree, our country is in distress.

quoting from the net:

“It’s from naval tradition, before radios. Putting your national colors upside down gave passing ships a signal that you were in trouble. It still is method of distress, if your radio is not working.”

I’ve heard that an upside-down flag is a sign of distress, not disrespect.

Notice that this didn't happen in states in which the Confederate Battle Flag is indigenous and acceptance of socialism is ..... low.

Remember a few years back when the Rebel Flag was ‘outlawed’.

Actually, it wasn't. But if you read The New York Times, you'll get that impression, won't you?
