Apparently, most of the voters in Massachusetts enjoy being condescended to and spit upon by their elected representatives.

It's true; the citizens of Massachusetts elected him and it was a mistake.
To bitch about the debt is indeed hypocritical.

Here is to a sudden and lasting contrition.

"I think there's a comprehension gap," said Kerry.

Actually, he is correct, in that HE doesn't "get it".

“Wee Man” from the Jackass/Wild Boyz show would probably be willing to do it, although I think technically HE is a dwarf.

“Hypocritical” is liberal speak for “I don’t like this”

Goes back to Karl Marx and Lenin. They ranted about middle class “hypocrisy”.

Often Democrats use it when there is nothing hypocritical about a stance someone takes. Many of them do not know the real meaning of the word.

And they certainly do not understand the virtue of hypocrisy: having standards and failing to live up to them, preaching virtue while not always being virtuous is far better for society than preaching moral relativism and living in a sewer.

The Victorians knew this. There were no Rosie O’Donnell around in 1900 preaching to 15 year old girls who couldn’t afford it, “Hey...look at me! I have all the kids I want and there is no father in sight” Upper class Victorians were as raunchy as anyone else. Often more so. But they knew better, unlike elites today, than to promote a depraved life-style to those who could not buy their way out of the consequences.

It is hypocritical.

Back in 2008 I had smug, holier than thou little bastards running around lecturing me about my “extremism” and “partisanship”. They were voting for “moderate” candidates - and Obama was in their view a “moderate” candidate.

Well in 2010, they’ve got what they voted for: a group of left wing extremists buying out their precious moderates with bribes and corruption. This is what the “moderate” government looks like. It’s exactly what they asked for.

I warned them of all of this.

I guess when these know-it-alls said they wanted “moderates”, what they meant was that they wanted people who would “weigh every side” and then agree with them.

The depressing part is that the worst offenders in our Congress will coast to easy re-elections. Even if 100 seats are “in play” that’s less than 25% of everyone up for re-election.

One of the strongest traits of a liberal is the inability to face the possibility that they a just WRONG...can’t be them...can’t be their policies......no, the poor ignorant voters are just uninformed, or hypocrites.

John Kerry you are a traitor to anyone that ever served in the military. You were wrong about me being a baby killer as you were about the other 2.5M soldiers in Viet Nam. You are and always will be just plain wrong to me.
