This strikes me dubious, as the White House confirms some kind of conversation(s) took place, regardless they claim nothing *inappropriate* occurred. Sestak must be made to disclose just whom it was who made him the offer, the details of the conversation. This is more than simply having a high-ranking pol offer to make campaign speeches on your behalf, as F-Chuck Todd tried to claim yesterday.
Sestak stepped in it by admitting he was made an offer, and he has not retracted his claim. It is now incumbent upon the powers-that-be to investigate it thoroughly -- that does not mean the White House gets to absolve itself of any wrong-doing, either.
