At first, Michael Mann, a Penn State professor and a central figure in the Climategate scandal, but best known for his discredited "hockey stick graph" didn't like being mocked in a YouTube video. Now Mann is alleging he's a victim of hate groups.
On ABC's May 23 "World News Sunday," a segment from anchor Dan Harris alleged that threatening e-mails Mann received were part of a "spike" in violence aimed at the global warming alarmist community.
"The ongoing oil spill crisis in the Gulf is keeping the debate over climate and energy very much in the headlines and that debate is becoming increasingly venomous with many prominent scientists now saying that they are being severely harassed," Harris said.

This poster believes that media bias in this country has reached a critical equilibrium.
They’re so far in the tank for wee-wee, their fundamental dishonest is now clear even to those few who have wanted so very much (for some unknown reasons) to believe in their hearts that American journalism is some sort of magic force for good and freedom.
When in fact, it’s more and more a one-sided dishonest 24/7 propaganda operation in every way allied with liberalism and big central government - against American freedoms.
The equilibrium is, as journalists become ever less important, their bias - which has always had a blowback effect of undermining their own customer base - has in this poster’s belief reached the point there it now alienates more of the very people they’re trying to reach, than it influences.

I no longer consider media as simply bias. They’re now corrupt. When you’re simply bias, you just present one side of the argument favourably and obmitted facts that could be damaging to your side. Media corruption: They’re now simply making up facts. Accuse opposition as the liars, when in fact its the media thats now lying.

It was more than just an “impression”, “may have been trying to hide flaws”? The most controversial emails clearly indicate an attempt to fudge the numbers, to ignore and not publish a dissenting view. I have heard of none of the scientists being exonerated. The emails remain proof of their attempts to deceive the public about global warming.
If this lie and guttersnipe journalism is an indication of what the MSM is peddling to the public these days, I'm not missing anything. It's a shame people still listen to these hacks. If only more people would stop watching and they couldn't afford to stay on air.

Penn State University completely exonerated Michael Mann, so Penn State University gets to keep the tens of millions of dollars in tax payer money that this totally innocent scientist brought to them.
